As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| I'm glad to see Pandora Hearts and Angel Beats are doing fairly well ^.^ I wasn't so surprised to see that BakaTest was ranked #1 on the Light Novels, it's a really great and hilarious anime as well as a light novel. |

| Yeah but he isn't the smartest and is far from being the strongest. And even if he was perfect, what's wrong with that? He might be boring to you but certainly isn't to me and many others. He's really badass, has great taste, good sense of humor, overall great fellow to be around. Under the delinquent mask he's actually caring person wishing the best for his comrades and actually taking action, helping them. I'd love to know someone like him and enjoy watching how he interacts with other characters - be it teasing Black Rabbit, encouraging Jin or discussing true meaning of art with Shiroyasha. Why can't you deal with a single character like him when 95% of anime have someone completely different? |

Synopsis: First year high school student Sakamoto isn't just cool, he's the coolest! I understand that it's hard to like him, I don't like him too but him being perfect all the time is funny because of how absurd and unrealistic it is. The manga is very self aware. |

Thats the thing. I believe that it depends on the kind of manga/anime it is. If the entire manga is based around the "Perfectness" of this "Perfect" person, then your problem isnt with the character but the entire manga itself. they are better than flat boring mc. everything is so easy for the mc. Personally, I find it to be the exact opposite. I get way more excited when the MC thrashes the bad guy or atleast doesnt get beat up continuously before he finally gets to win. And what makes such MCs even better is when they have a really great personality to go along with their strength. Basically what Progeusz said above lol. OP chars with the personality to match arent common and thats why when I watch a show with such a char, it makes the show even better for me. |
