| MAYOIIII! Many tears were shed for you my loli-goddess. In all seriousness, Hachikuji is one of my favorite characters of the season and as unfortunate it is to see her go, it's written and animated so stunningly beautiful. "I love you...Araragi-san." This line killed me. /feels 5/5 Episode, best episode of this Season/Arc so far. |

| If it really is Ougi's job to punish liars, I wonder what her connection to reality is. Since many of the characters in Monogatari are liars in that they "lie" to themselves as a result of their expectations and how they ignore, disregard, or otherwise fail to see reality, it would be really interesting to see how an Ougi x reality link would tie in to that. It's already been strongly implied that she has something to do with the darkness, which acts as a force of reality for apparitions. |

| In the end, I was right that more than Shinobu, the real reason of all was Mayoi. Story all based towards a resolution very melancholy, I would say that you have succeeded quite well. Plot that makes a step forward, the character of Mayoi was nice, I wonder if we'll see him ever. Drawings with ups and downs, catchy soundtrack. |

| I never thought this show going to give us that kinda surpise. First is Nadeko then this?! Personaly i love Nadeko as one of my fav character. Now... Well this Mayoi is just.. Speechless. What a masterpiece monogatari series |

| Heartbreaking episode..Hachikuji was cute and fun and so innocent. The goodbye and that kiss was so sad.. it was fun the way he was kissed Yotsugi and perfect how he made Shinobu submit by him kissing her, thus making her feel super wanted :D I hope she'll make another appearance in these twisted ways the series are released. Great episode and great ending that explained his absence in the first arc. |

| I effin' cried! Damn, I'm gonna miss their moments (no, not the molested scenes). I really don't understand Japanese but everytime they get into their exchange of word plays it feels refreshing. Well thankfully, it's not a tragical farewell for my 2nd best girl in the series. |

| I just noticed how a lot of the dialogue in this series is like this: "(says something) In other words, (says the exact same thing)" Also, funny how Hachikuji's arc was about Shinobu, and Shinobu's arc is about Hachikuji. 1/5 |

| Thank you for the extra time we had. Ep 20. Plot: Gaen tells the truth behind the Darkness. It is the "rule" of the world. An enforcer on Oddities that removes them when they go away from their designation. For a "Vampire" that carried the misunderstanding of a "God", she would be erased. And now the Hachikuji that was a "Lost Snail' that no longer is a "Lost snail" she would be erased as well. And so, to save that little girl, she had to go away for the last time. Character: Gaen was a surprise with her connection with Kabaru and kinda creepy. THose that know everything usually are. In the end it was Mayoi that was a shock. She had grown from her habit of leading the lost and just wanted to hang around with Koyomi and the others. And it was heartbreaking to see her go because of the "Rule of the World". I did have this spoiled awhile back but seeing it is still worse. Ougi continues to be creepy and I'm left wondering just wtf is she. Animation/sound: THe lead up to Hachikuji's goodbye was wonderful. 5/5. A strong arc with a long lasting ending. Sayonara, Hachikuji Mayoi. I was glad to watch you and Araragi banter. |

| oh, so it was Gaen's doing that Koyomi had to stay away from the town as to not interfere with Hanekawa's unification. Now I have the feeling there are maybe too many people who are pulling the strings - be it Gaen, Ougi or Kagenui. I kinda cannot get myself to like Gaen. Heh, but I lol'd he she is the same pervert with Yotsugi as Araragi with Mayoi :D But it sure was an interesting concept - killing an aberration that gets way too good. Though I don't think Mayoi wasn't doing her job of Lost Cow, she literally had, albeit unknowingly, caused everyone getting lost their way lately if you think about it (be it Tsubasa who even admitted it in the first arc, Araragi/Shinobu in the second arc or Shinobu in this arc). They were lost all along. All the time she was just denying her fate. And when Mayoi's Kaerimichi theme started playing I just lost it. I really liked how they resolved it in the end. Also, am I the only one who noticed Mayoi has the same green wristlet as Shinobu on her hand all the time, only on different hand? Now I guess I will have to just wait for Owarimonogatari to finally get to know how Araragi appeared in front of Tsubasa with that sword and got together with Shinobu, right? btw - is Araragi telling making up all those tales for Ougi? This really feels like like he is deluding himself all the time. I get the vibes she is real centerpiece of all stories. Like real alterego of NisiOisiN maybe, who is writing the stories and having dialogues with her own charcters. I believe in the end we will be breaking the fourth wall here. She is literally saying SHE is the darkness that makes all aberrations going but I think there is some catch to it. And remember Koyomi is also an aberration but doesn't behave like one. | i can't, i fucking , i don't know what to say, i cried, after years of watching anime this the is only the third time but it's crazy hard. I didn't see it coming at all, i never tough that she would be gone one day, i always tough that we'll see her gags till the end of all the monogatarie series. Fuck i'm so sad, i feel so bad right know, crazy how an anime can make you fell so bad. Goodbye Hachikuji, one hell of of a cool character ! |

| This is the most emotional episode of the franchise thus far I think Gaen to me seems very suspicious in all this, more so than any of the other Occult members, they acted more genuinely (even Kaiki). Gaen seems to have her own agenda, even outside of Kanbaru. As for Ougi, her finals words to Araragi, seemed like indirectly referencing the "darkness" as far the job, lying, and ending terms she used. Not just that but unless I am missing something, unless Hanekawa still lingers around Araragi and Nadeko does an amazing redemption story; seems like up to this point Araragi has lost 3 girls if look at it from a harem aspect. |

| Hachikuji x Araragi kiss. FINALLY. So sad to see here go though... First Araragi tried to save her from being an apparition now she's gone for good. Also Ougi is very suspicious.. I'm curious to see what happened to Shinobu the past 2 episodes. |
