| Good episode, although I wish Fight Club wasn't disbanded. It seems they were able to handle 1-Star life without losing themselves to greed, so it would have been nice if they were able to stay out of poverty. Oh well, if that's what makes them happy then that's all that matters. |

| This episode was really good. It's nice that they think not only about Ryuuko or Senketsu, but also Mako and her's family. It, actually, resembles a bit how things can turn in real life too. But that Mako's two star uniform. Suits her! |
| What are those big chains in the school yard for anyways? How can they even hear Satsuki up on the roof of that tower, I mean how tall is that thing? about 300-600 meters tall? They'd have to yell through loudspeakers or something to be able to hear that.. So the entire family just turned against Ryuuko like that, without any second thoughts, plus Mako also gained OP fighting skills in under a second.. If I were Ryuuko, at this point, I would've been ready to give up hope and just quit out of the academy. So despite all the flaws that were yet again in this episode, it seemed to have a pretty deep morale too.. |

| This episode showed the two sides of life even if I think not all poor people are happy. Also not all rich people are happy. Money will always be an issue unfortunately. I liked this episode, all these crazy ass people and clubs lol, Mako's punch O.O |

| Very nice social commentary/human nature episode. People will do whatever it takes to advance in society, even stepping upon one another. It's nice to see humility, family, and friendship be promoted against selfishness and greed. The Fight Club being permitted to form and Mako's family being allowed to rise in status isn't an uncommon tactic used by those in power to quell their opposition and critics in reality. Cater to the selfish desires of people who trouble you most and in their greed they will accept and cease their actions, allowing you to continue your actions with less opposition. Assimilate them into a position where opposing you will go against their interests, and you will be assured security. So Satsuki had been planning to use Ryuko to weed out undesirables? I didn't expect to see the theme of social cleansing be tackled in this show, but it's unsurprising given the totalitarianism and ideologies of Social Darwinism and purity that have been shown. The mentioning of the Nazis in the first few episodes was pretty much the show indicating that it was going to be making some parallels to them. It would appear that Satsuki wants to be the vanguard of humanity's "ascension" after having been united and strengthened to its pinnacle achieved through having been purified of those who would hold back the worthy collective. |

| The ranks in society really depicts the amount of human greed. Very nice...real foul play from Satsuki. A really nice fight between Ryuko and Mako. Felt intense! Nice soundtrack as well. |

| Is already beginning to be a little boring, so repetition also makes the interest and humor are lost. I hope in the next episodes change the dynamic. -- Ya empieza a ser algo aburrida, además tanta repetición hace que el interés y el humor se pierdan. | So THIS is what happened to Jotaros old uniform and hat when he left for Morioh. Plus, this episode is even more proof for me that Mako is in fact a great character. She actually worked really hard this episode to help her family and Ryuuko and I sort of would have wished for them to be able to keep their mid-class life style as shown for a moment. This is easily among my favorite episodes so far. And though I wouldn't mind the whole show playing out like this, the buildup in the background is noted and appreciated. So many places where it could still go from here. |

| They lived the high life for a while! but then they were no longer together as family. The lap of luxury came with a price. Alas, poor Ryuko was back to eating meals by herself. The fight club! Fight Club is my favourite movie lol! <3 I can't believe Mako took the uniform and fought Ryuko! D: All because of the greed! Yeah, Mako did look like JoJo, it was cool. I'm glad she stopped fighting her, disbanded the cool fight club, and they all went back to happiness in the slums. Awww. |

| Surprisingly emotional episode and I kinda expected it to turn out like this as soon as I saw how the episode was building up. Ryuuko and Mako grew even closer after this. |

| It was an interesting take on the episode. It would look like this is how Ryuuko infiltrate among Satsuki's ranks, but it seems the greed got the best on her family. Now, she has to end it all. Mako in that Yankee outfit!! You know, she can hold on her own if she went serious! Satsuki is such a cunning strategist. She knew, this would end up happening. Ryuuko and Mako fighting, her family tearing apart, while simultaneously purging the weak clubs under the school. Genius!! Still, I'm glad everything went well. Hopefully we'll see more Mako in a uniform!! |

| This is the best episode so far. A cliche episode, to be sure, in that the family goes from rags to riches and rags again once realizing their 'moral impoverishment,' a trope which I think should be examined in its material dimensions more closely - isn't access to actual food more important than a collective family dinner? -but nevertheless for me it shines in its presentation of Satsuki. Satsuki is a consummate order villian, who understands exactly how to manipulate people through her understanding of psychology and through the laws and social system she provides. She lets Ryuuko's short-sighted plan to profit off her system to go forward, reasoning she will either wash out or become a defender of it to protect the privileges she will earn, which is what exactly happens to Mako. Her plan only fails because Mako underestimates the amount of fatigue Ryuuko has to endure to support the Mankanshoku's upward mobility. It also lays out visibly exactly what Satsuki's motivations are; the meaning of her catchphrase of 'pigs in human clothing' becomes clear. The struggle between her and Matoi in this episode becomes one of philosophical positions; Mako's assimilation into upper echelon of Honnouuji is confirmation of Satsuki's Hobbesian view of humans as little better than animals who require the firm hand of a sovereign to govern them. In response, Matoi is forced to draw out the Rousseauian innate goodness of Mako in order to win the figurative argument with Satsuki. |

| I don't give a shit what anyone's opinion on this anime is. The only thing that matters regarding this specific episode is, "First rule of Fight Club: You do not talk about Fight Club." How can anyone miss that? I'm disappointed in all of you. DISAPPOINTED! |
