| Ah, welcome to the Confusion. Glad they explained it quite a bit towards the end. Seems to have potential but I'm not sure yet. So I'm not sure I understand, I can't tell if the "soul" and this "Ayakashi" are two separate entities, or only one. And if everyone has both, or only one / the other. Did her near-death experience trigger the releasing of her Ayakashi? Also, how did Yato lose his powers but can still... semi-spring around? Is he actually a god? *shrugs* Guess these are questions that will soon be answered. :) Ooh, also a cultural question. I was under the impression that the Japanese count on their fingers by starting with an open hand (for zero) and close each finger (starting at the thumb) for each successive digit, ending with "five" which appears in the form of a fist. Although, they used our understanding of five to signify five. Is this a cultural shift? |

| Meh. First ep was okay. My attention wasn't fully grabbed, but I'll stick with it since I see Yato errwhere and he's popped up on MAL users' fave characters from time to time on my profile stalkings lolol |

| I finally get to watch Noragami! The first episode did a good job introducing the audiences to two of the main characters. I love Yato's and Hiyori's personality and their character overall. The ED is great but the opening is amazing! |

| Beginning confused me; there's a connection between depressed people and evil spirits appearing? High quality animation, as expected from Bones. I hope to see her use more MA moves. He hasn't even granted her wish yet |

| Hmm so that guy's a god who needs more worshippers to get stronger? But I guess he needs a weapon first, wonder if that girl can become his new weapon somehow? Also 5 yen is pretty cheap for the services of a god xD |
| Going into this blind was definitely a good idea. The premise seems original and can give way to many interesting situations – excited to see how the characters evolve throughout the rest of the season. The main female character has some unique characteristics that instantly grabbed my attention, which is always appreciated. |

| I dropped this anime after the first episode way back during its initial release. The story and direction just wasn't appealing to me, but now almost 5 years later amd with a bit a research about its premise I've had a turn of heart. The show isn't bad there are immeasurably worse anime out there as I've had time to see. |
| This was a blast as far as debut episodes go. It has a Kekkai Sensen sort of style and this strange hint of Devilman Crybaby too, all patterns of paint under its very shounen core and Japanese folklore foundation. There's nothing to dislike about this so far, aside from the idiosyncratically anime-esque goofy faces the characters make sometimes. I've been meaning to watch this for years and I'm glad I'm finally getting around to it. |
