The Gamecube was a great console with a wide variety of interesting and fun games. What were your personal favorites?

Super Smash Bros melee was the only Gamecube game I really played. But I played 6000+ matches on that with my friends and family.

Granted I haven't played many, but I'd say Wind Waker and Super Smash Bros Melee. Wind Waker might just be my favorite 3D Zelda. It just has a lot of spirit and style. I have Super Smash Bros Brawl for my wii, and while there are some nice additions here, it just doesn't play quite as good as Melee. Especially the story/subspace... whatever it is, is just a chore to play (I never got to the end actually).

1. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is my all time fave. I LOVE Zelda games. I love the dark atmosphere and realistic artstyle. The story was pretty interesting too, and Midna was a lovable and kinda hot character.

2. Starfox Assault is another fave of mine. I'm not absolutely certain its my 2nd fave on the Gamecube, but it had an entertaining if cheesy scifi storyline with lovable characters and really, really awesome music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6543T0HI50
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avG-ibaS-9k

3. Super Mario Sunshine. I'm not a huge fan of platformers, but this one was so much fun. The atmosphere of the world was fun, the levels were all really good, the water jet thing was unique...This game was fun.

4. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. Good story. Good music. Plays a lot like main series Pokemon games. Love it.

1. Tales of Symphonia: This game must have had my complete attention for 8 months. Went out of my way to get every character as Lloyd's soulmate before I finally stopped playing it. LloydxSheena is the best RPG pairing I've seen since Grandia II. =)

2. Resident Evil REmake: This is still the best Resident Evil game ever made in my opinion. Great graphics and a fantastic redo of the original game. One of the main reasons I still own a GC.

3. Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker: Still my favourite Zelda game to date. Loved the colourful graphics and the playstyle was really good. Plenty of longevity with Island exploration as well.

4. Timesplitters: Future Perfect: I know it's multiplatform but I have it on GC. Some of the most fun I've had in a multiplayer FPS. Nothing beats playing Virus mode with 3 friends against a horde of bots.

I've had so many adventures on my Gamecube, but nothing can ever compare to the adventure I got to have when I first bought Wind Waker.

Probably Tales of Symphonia, even though the Ps2 version had more content. That or Super Smash Brothers Melee. Doing the Black Hole glitch and crashing my gamecube, much fun.

Twilight Princess and Super Smash Bros. Melee for sure. I always wanted to play Tales of Symphonia but I could only play the Wii sequel, which I beat. Kinda wanted to play the first one before it but I couldn't help myself. xD

I didn't put Symphonia down as my favorite for Gamecube since its being released on PS3 next year. Plus I think it has everything the PS2 version had plus there will probably be some nice DLC costumes.

Not many good ones, unfortunately. That's why I'm not a big fan of the GameCube, since I don't particularly like Nintendo games. The Harvest Moon games were probably the only ones I liked on that system.
