| I'd enjoy Coppelion a lot more if Aoi just died. I loathed her before episode 6 but that has now evolved into abysmal hate. She's definitely in my top 10. |
| I have watched a lot of anime and I'm not fond of manipulative/psycho/evil/selfish/irrational/always-misses-the-point characters. Up until now, Yuno from Mirai Nikki was my #1 most hated character but at least she had skills. This Aoi is the complete opposite, innocent, compassionate, ....and useless oh, so very useless. Don't get me wrong, she could turn out to be awesome but her flightiness is beyond extreme. Usually useless people recognize their uselessness and either stay out of the way or improve but not Aoi, she seems to be incapable of understanding her situation. There is this palpable lack of awareness and sense that is grating and off putting. The only reason I would keep her around is as bait and if she dies, good riddance. In my book, Yno and Aoi are tied for #1 for completely different reasons. |

| Aoi is clearly here for comic relief, otherwise the anime would be too grim-dark to market to kids. I'm not especially fond of her goofyness but I don't hate her. This is anime we're talking about, the goofy treatment of a plot wins 9 times out of 10 over the realistic/serious treatment. |

| Incidentally, Aoi is on 6 favourites list (though the figure says 5), whereas Taeko is only on 2. Ibara, on the other hand, is on 18 (figure says 16) |

| Worst in this series, but she's not bad enough to make me cringe whenever I see her. (for example, Nina from Code Geass does) But damn, she needs to stop talking in third person and acting like a whiny princess. |

| I find Aoi to be incredibly annoying. I might have liked her if she actually did stuff, but she just runs around being completely useless. I'm confused as to how she even passed training for what she's doing. |

| The old capital's contamination isn't a result of radiation and waste, it's a result of Aoi's stupidity. Anyway, I don't dislike her because she's useless, I dislike her because she doesn't fit in with or belong in a series like this, she just kills the mood with her bratty and stupid attempts at being "kawaii." She's the clown at a funeral, all you can do is cry at how disgusting it is and laugh at how wrong it is. Oh and her 3rd person speech is really annoying, she must not want to identify herself with the name Aoi because of what it means to be her. |

| Woah, so much hate. Just because she hasn't shown any useful ability until now doesn't mean she's completely useless. I mean, she must have a use if she's in the Coppelion group, right? What if she has infrared vision, or if she can breathe underwater, or if her poop is edible? Sure, those aren't consistently useful like super strength/agility or enhanced senses, but in certain situations those abilities could be crucial. That's what I'm expecting her to be: situationally awesome. I'll wait until the anime ends to evaluate her usefulness. | I'm rather indifferent to her. She may be useless and rather annoying, but she at least has a personality that sticks out (better than Taeko, I keep forgetting she exists sometimes). Also gives us a contrast that I'm rather fond of, even though it could be a much better contrast--she really wasn't that annoying at first. So that helps her be a bit memorable in my case, even though Ibara is the best of the three girls for being a competent leader. |

So unless she suddenly develops some later (which would be kinda not likely) then she is pretty useless.. I mostly don't like her character though not because of that but because of how whiny she is and also she doesn't fit in with this genre of show, it's like she hasn't had any military training or the mental capacity to do this job. |
| Just caught up to Coppelion chapter 50 and she is pathetic. I'm not even joking, not just for her time on screen and on the battlefield but during Probably not the worst character I've ever seen but definitely my least favorite from the series and likely this season. Edit: well okay actually, maybe she might be a little more useful than I thought after chapter 60. |
