Even on the same topic, clicking different pages will mostly show captcha. And takes me several tries to get it right because i'm not human enough?

First time it's ever happened to me... and it's happening every 3rd or 4th request I make to the site.

I'd be laughing at the incompetence if it wasn't so annoying... especially since I have to allow requests to google or I get a nice blank screen where the idiotic captcha is supposed to be...

Okay, I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but almost every time I click a link, even to edit my list, I get a captcha. I don't get along with them, you see. I don't normally participate in the forum community on here, but could someone please fix this? I even ran several scan with my anti-virus, just to make sure, but I came up with nothing. Thank yous!

I'm really not sure what this is but yesterday all of a sudden this... Incapsula thing came up when I just wanted to update my list.

It freaked me out telling me all of a sudden my PC might be infected, ran a few scans with my antivirus program and even with some other security programs but came up clean and I'm pretty sure I haven't done anything besides my usual browsing.

A quick refresh fixes the problem but it is annoying nontheless and 30 minutes later when I visit the site again it shows up again.

SOOO all in all, what the hell is this thing and why is it showing up for a lot of members of this site?

You likely already have a virus.

Dear people of the forum, buy some AV software please. Don't forget that spyware and malware protection as well.

Or just use an all in one like Kaspersky.

From what I've seen most of the free one's are shit depending on what part of the web you hang out at.

For example AVG and Avast are both shit.

I'm going to have to agree with RedArmyShogun here.

The free antivirus are shit, especially avast and avg.

How do I know? Speaking from experiences.

On my old pc, when I used avast it would detect malware when I visit some sites that I never really been on before. And it would remove it, but it doesn't detect all of them, causing some issues on my pc.

AVG is the next step up to absolute shit tier. One time my old pc got really infected badly. And AVG did shit all, it didn't detect anything at all and didn't do anything at all. I couldn't even run a scan, I would click quick scan but nothing happens.

So downloaded malwarebytes and that found and removed over 800 infected files and malware.

But malwarebytes didn't remove everything, and I still had problems. So I got a new pc.

On this new pc I bought norton. And I've never been infected since. Norton is able to detect and remove malware really well.

But I know that a lot of people don't like norton, so maybe get macafee or kaspersky.

You're not infected don't worry. For a weird reason, Incapsula detects us as bots.

This is causing me issues also, MAL Updater for PC doesn't seem to work anymore [it was temperamental in the first place but I hear other 3rd party apps are having issues due to this Incapsula]. Also, it keeps asking for a captcha code to be put in every 20 minutes or so because I run all my home network traffic through a proxy server on my own network for access control and bandwidth monitoring etc. Frustrating.

Also why are those word captcha so hard most of the time? One word is ok but the other is warped as hell... Is the purpose to stop us from entering even though we're human? If I switch to sound captcha that is even worse, that robotic voice is damn impossible to understand completely plus alot of added noise.

I hate captchas.

I hate this incapsulate bullshit, too.

Other websites manage to protect themselves without captchas every second page and being constantly logged out, what is MAL doing? Is this some sort of conspiracy to reduce the user base?

I'm getting this incapsula crap too. It's telling me I might have a virus/malware. Don't make me laugh. I have been using Kaspersky internet security since 2008 & have never had a virus/malware. I do scans every day to make sure I don't. I'm gonna trust a reputable antivirus company before some shit that an anime website uses to keep bots away.

Don't you people realize that a message saying you might have a virus is just a generic one and the reason you are being blocked is completely different (inappropriate security settings and blocking rules or w/e)? So when you take those warnings seriously, it's you who make me laugh. Of course it may freak out at first, but after the surprise is gone, it's clear as day
