| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

For example, in Australia, "for instance, magazine photographs of women with A breast cup sizes have been censored in recent years, reportedly leading to an increase in the average breast size of women in Australian magazines." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_pornography_laws_in_Australia In the story, Koma-chan is in the second year of middle school. That makes her about thirteen years old. So in principle it should be no big deal to show her in a swimsuit. But if she is so short that she looks like she is ten years old then it could be a different story. Likewise, to show her wearing an elementary school style swimsuit could be a problem. |

| As it turns out, you are raising a very important point. Under a relatively new Japanese law, which took effect in 2011, there is a specific restriction that applies to characters in anime and manga who are under age 13. (i.e. age 12 and under) Here is a quote from Wikipedia: The Metropolitan government is authorised to "encourage the establishment of an environment where child pornography could be eliminated and prevent its creation." The bill specifically mentions "any sexually arousing posing on the behalf of children under the age of 13 wholly or partially naked, or wearing swimwear or only underwear, published in books or featured in film," although as with its other provisions this only applies to drawings and animation, not to photography or film of real children. Therefore, she is definitely above the age cutoff of 12. But Hotaru is in grade 6 so she is only 11 years old. Therefore, she is definitely below the age cutoff of 12. Whether it be characteristics of people or a genre of some sort, you never know if you don't like it until you've seen quality work corresponding to that genre. Even her personality doesn't resemble one, maybe just a little in this episode because it was a special case (being really worried about Komari) but I completely forgot about her being a 5th grader before that tbh. Now if they tried to realistically depict a 5th grader and gave her bust and put her in that swimsuit, yeah that might have been a little different.. Now about the episode, I think the last scene was extremely unnecessarily, but other than that it was good and very funny. |

Even though it was Natsumi that initiated her spicy soup prank in the first place, she didn't have to take it back by offering to eat the soup herself--and that act, I suspect, is reflective of her true character. I get that sense that, despite her unreserved personality, Natsumi actually has a kind heart. |
