THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that certainly didn't disappoint. In fact, they did a pretty good job, even tough the story went wondering for a while. At least it was much better than Kurenai (so far). I didn't like how they changed Juu's design, but Ame's scenes were definitely moe. Now, where's Yukihime. I want my cosplay scene! Modified by Iiotoko, 02-17-09, 8:27 PM |

It didn't disappoint, but wasn't what I was expecting either!!!!!! I thought this was in the school, drama, sci-fi genre, but it turned out to be a murder mystery, and a pretty disturbing one! D: That said, I really loved the atmosphere throughout, in a creeped out way, especially Ame for at least half of it. Considering the inital implied set up, that's definitely one way to get rid of a possible harem situation ^^; |

Mamoru Kanbe's direction was splendid and the original script by Kure-nai's KentarÅ Katayama was great, especially dialogues. On top of this, animation and art direction are top notch (thank you Brains Base), although I don't really like the chara-design. No, really, a good piece of work, mixing elements from Kure-nai, Elfen Lied, Higurashi and the Type Moon universe, I loved it ! Modified by Jacut, 03-17-09, 4:34 PM |

Seems.....quite interesting really. Went into this not really expecting anything and was pleasantly surprised. Went from school, stalker, murder mystery, harem and then Higurashi all in 40 minutes. Looking forward to more. Btw wonder what happened to higurashi girl. |

Haha, very Higurashi like IMO. I love it so much that I already gave the series a ten. |

That was awesome. I loved how unsettling it was! It wasn't what I was expecting at all. |

What does this have to do with Kurenai...this was good in its own right...except for the design of the main character, but I'm not getting how this is in the same universe. |

Three of the thirteen "Hidden" families were included. Ochibana, Ame's family. Kirishima, Yukihime's (Volume2) family. Endou, Madoka's (Volume2) family. Also, Jyuu's mother is Benika, if you remember who she is. Modified by Iiotoko, 05-10-09, 3:35 PM |

I don't think I even remember there being 13 big families. Jyuu's mother is Benika!? She had a son! Wow. I wish they would have alluded to that. |

Maybe I shouldn't have calledl them "big". Remember Yuuno? Her family is one of them. You see Benika in volume 2. Kicking her son's ass. Modified by Iiotoko, 05-10-09, 3:40 PM |

Yeah, I remember Yuuno, I thought it was just them and the Kuhoins. As for the 2nd volume, unless you mean the second episode of Kurenai, I don't read manga...or novels. |

The Kuhouins is one of the other 3 families that has absolute power in the world, mostly with money and fame. Houzuki and the other 12 families also controls the world, but half of them are either gone because of their bloodline or had given up. All of the families excels physically and mentally compared to normal people, and each of them has their own secret special abilities and supernatural powers. I would assume that they would make another one for volume 2. |
