| Only at the end, we understand that this episode is nothing but a huge preamble on the facts that will be; pretty buggered! XD Narrative in which the two components which take precedence over all are: the dialogues and the usual manic lolicon of Araragi. LOL Funny in certain situations the story, not a bad quality designs. |

| Lolicon Araragi, certainly doesn't hold back. Loved Ononoki's return, her muscle obsession had me lol. Really want to see a Shinobu back story, doesn't look like it's happening this arc. |

| Surprising darkness is surprising. Ep 17. Plot: Rewinding the clock, we see Araragi and Hachikuji as they retrieve her backpack from his home. And then a black hole attacked them. Well actually its a big circle of "darkness" but its still terrifying. And they only escape thanks to Yotsugi. ANd then he got kissed...by Yotsugi...which was seen by Shinobu. And as Shinobu learns about the issue at hand, we learn that it's not an "apparition" but a problem that Shinobu has already encountered. Ladies and Gentlemen, as the title said: We have a Shinobu arc! Character: It was fun seeing the dynamic between Araragi and Hachikuji. And Araragi's certain tendencies return in full force with a hug from Hachikuji but then backfires when Yotsugi kisses him. Shinobu's jealousy was in rare form and even she cannot resist the Araragi kiss! Yotsugi had a hilarious subversion of the mystery hero saving the protag but literally having no idea what was going on. Oh and Yotsugi is part Kryptonian. Or she has watched Superman at some point. Animation/sound: The new ED dolls were cute. And the darkness was pretty well talked about and it is certainly a big ball of creepy, like out a true ghost story. 4/5. A strong start with plenty of comedy and a good cliffhanger. |

| Ougi is just everywhere, scheming nothing and everything, man, I really wonder why she has her hands hidden.. maybe she has no fingers? :D Muscles scene was marvellous! :D And I start to like Yotsugi :) (I just don't understand why they jumped into old school house when it was destroyed earlier). And dat kiss out of nowhere, pure greatness! :)) The moment Shinobu woke up wanting his apology for that it was sure he can silence her only by another kiss. And there it was, twice in one episode, hehe :D Now I really wonder what that darkness is.. knowing that it swallowed Shinobu in the past. And I'm also curisous who her first minion was. Great OP btw! |

| Didn't particularly like this episode. Araragi went from lolicon to fleshed out pedo. Dunno, let's hope this arc gets more interesting. And, some lines aside, this season's dialogues and interactions are not the same in appeal as the ones from all the previous seasons, that's sad. |

| This episode made me realize all over again how Araragi is the luckiest perverted bastard in the history of anime. Forfucksake. So, they got chased by "darkness" which Shinobu is pretty knowledgeable then Mayoi is asleep. Fucking Araragi being perverted as fuck again. Haha. Poor Mayoi being fooled by Araragi that she had to hug his back and he felt her oppai. Hahaha. What's up with that kissing his back? Haha. Nooo. Then our precious Ononoki arrives and saved them two. Ononoki fucking "smooched" Araragi and he's stupefied. Happy for you, Araragi-kun. Hahaha. But seriously Araragi's body is exactly the type of body I like when it comes to men, so I feel you, Ononoki. Lmfao. | 5/5 An intense episode. Seeing the shirtless Araragi was so ... exciting. Currently my favorite characters of Monogatari are Araragi, Shinobu and Ononoki. I just wish he was still in Sengoku's arc. |

| The prologue of the episode though, I'm more interested in knowing what that Ougi got to do with all of this. Well Hachikuji have lost her old home, and maybe Araragi is her new home. Araragi kissed 2 girl in 1 episode, that guy's no hope. |

Touching ghosts, kissing with shikigamis and vampires, having a loli who wants to having a wild sex with you, incest sisters,crazy bi kouhai, Class Rep-chan who is ready to do anything for you and on top of that the girlfriend(although their relationships somehow feel the least natural out of the entire list). |

| Shinobu arc baby! Haven't gotten one of these yet. Looking forward to her backstory, and to seeing her first minion too. That "darkness" is insanely ominous, can't wait to learn more about that. Also 1000% sure that Gaen and Episode are called because of this. Well that kiss with Ononoki and Shinobu was unexpected, I'm pretty sure Hitagi won't be too pleased to hear about this. Also new ED visuals look cool, looking forward to hearing the new OP. |
