There are circumstances where it is amusing, I guess. Me personally, I would give the slight edge to Shana because I think her character design is a little bit cuter, but I love both of them lol. I have Shana posters on my wall as well though, maybe that is what is influencing me. Where the Louise wall scrolls and posters at homie? lol :P EDIT: FOUND LOUISE POSTERS ON EBAY, OMG BUYING. Just spent like 50 USD but oh well , you get that :P Modified by Swiftstylez, 02-16-09, 9:28 AM |

Honestly? I like Shana more, she's my #1 (Louise is #2 :P). BTW. SnS was first anime which I watched in internet and it's still my favourite. Shana is cute and her "Urusai! Urusai! Urusai!" is the best :D . |

I prefer Louise, which is odd for a few reasons... 1) Shakugan no Shana was my first "favorite" anime. The first one I sort of obsessed over. I never felt that way about Zero no Tsukaima. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but I'm never overly enthusiastic about a comedy. 2) Shana is more open with her emotions, and is more rational in dealing with "competition". She seems quite mature in this aspect. 3) I am crazy about redheads. Naturally straight, red hair is a weakness of mine. So by all accounts, I should like Shana better. I think the reason Louise is better to me, probably lies in the anime. Shakugan no Shana II... disappointed me. I was largely uninterested in the first half of it, because it didn't seem to progress anywhere. Then I felt the ending was too short. I haven't been over enthused of Shana since. I must admit, I'm a bit disappointed in Zero no Tsukaima too. Way too many boob references. You loose sight of a possibly interesting storyline. I just watch it for the humor. If it wasn't for the comedy, I'd probably like Shana more. |

I thought I didn't know the reason why I liked Louise more but you just said what was in my mind - besides the fact that Shana wasn't my first favorite anime I just can say: /sign |

gomene mina san... actually I liked shana more (not because of the anime but because of the girl itself...) xD... hmmm... I like louise too (since I liked the 4 tsundere voiced by Rie Kugimiya) but I liked shana more out of the 4 tsundere xD... gomene mina san... Oh and I agree that Shakugan no Shana second is disappointing since its too short (the battles with sabarac and hecate are great but too short) ... Zero no Tsukaima Futatsuki no Kishi has all my 5 stars (especially when I thought saito died... It was epic oh and also the war between tristain and albion) xD... you don't have to apologize ... you have your opinion and even if others don't agree with you (like me) there is no point in criticizing you since it is just a matter of taste |

If the concept of preferring Shana to Louise offended people, this discussion wouldn't be allowed. Personally, I think it's a good topic. Most people who like Zero no Tsukaima also like Shakugan no Shana. It's only natural to compare them. This topic is made to get you thinking about the similarities and differences between the two. Oh, and on a side note, I think it would be written: Gomen ne mina-san. Not positive. Haven't gotten to take a course in Japanese yet. |

My choice's going to... Louise. I agree with the most of you... It's really difficult to choose! >.< I've watched Shakugan no Shana first than Zero no Tsukaima, I've always loved Shana, but Louise's something inexplicable... soo~~ kawaii *.* ![]() |

Louise is my choice, she's involved in more ecchi moments, and unlike Shana actually grows to kissing slightly easier than Shana's relationship with Yuuji. |

Zero no Tsukaima was better then Shakugan no Shana (Becuz Yoshida nearly made my heart burst with anger everytime i saw her). And louise is better becuz she blows up stuff when she gets angry >,< |
