| In the December issue of Afternoon magazine, an announcement will be made that a two-chapter special of the "Mushishi" manga will be published. This announcement also includes news of a "top secret project" that is in the works for the series. More info on this project will come via the wraparound jacket band that is included in the deluxe keepsake edition volumes of the original manga. The first and second volumes are expected to ship on November 21, 2013, while the third volume is expected to ship on December 20, 2013. It is not specified which volume this announcement will be included with. The original "Mushishi" manga was published from 1999 to 2008 and received an anime adaptation which aired from October 2005 to June 2006. | So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| No, I'm asking why call it a secret project if you're announcing it. You kill people to keep projects top secret, not advertise them in magazines. I'm questioning why they did call it top secret instead of just saying there are some plans for the series. Might as well call it a space project. Or the project that will change your life. Or 'you must have it' project. It's just putting on airs. You expect something better from people working on a series like this. |

| WHOA!!!!!! I don't know why but every time DMC is mentioned I think of the hack n slash video game series XD I don't think DMC needs another series does it?? I thought it had a pretty good ending. It has been awhile though so I don't remember anymore. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel none the less. As for Mushishi how much of the manga was adapted in the first anime adaption?? How much material is there for season 2? I hope S2 gets made!!!! WAR MUSHISHI!!!! |
