Hi , nice to meet u all... I'm from Serbia, and I hope to make a lot of friends like brother and sister in "Oreimo" (but without weird glases) xD :P
What else to say... Hmm... I love anime so so much!
That will be all for now ;)))
My name is Marko. I'm from Zagreb, Croatia.
People usually call me Johnny (B. Štulić is the reason), but call me however you like.
I'm turning 18 this summer and I'm 3rd year student of MIOC.
I have been watching anime since I was a kid, but I seriously started when I entered high school. Up until now I completed about 20-30 anime series, read few manga (IDK how many, probably 5-6 counting entire manga series).
Favorite anime: Probably Kampfer, it has sth for everyone; action, great humor (I'm often looking for this when choosing anime to watch), ecchi, but it also discusses more interesting social themes (read, shounen and seinen in one, it's more shounen, but seinen-spiced).
Favorite about manga/anime: nice, flowing humor; enough simple and liberal to amuse anyone, but still sensible enough to make you think about some things on this world.
It also gives you chance to look at world from a different point of view; everything there is idealized, but it still gives you new point of view on some things.
I entered this group looking for some otaku-like people from Balkan, simple as that. people usually think I'm weird when I tell them I'm watching anime and reading manga, so I thought it would be interesting to meet people on Balkan who can actually understand me.
Also I'm friendly towards any nation; just be polite and we'll get along pretty well.
If you're from Croatia or even Zagreb, pls contact me on my e-mail:
firstname.lastname@example.org because I want to be connected as much as possible with otaku-like people form around here.
Hi my name is Mirza. I am from Bosnia, live in Brcko, but at the time I am studying in Sarajevo. It is nice to know that there are many anime and manga fans from our little corner of Europe.
P.S. For those who are asking why some people are writing in English, I think because this club is meant not only for the people from the ex-yu states, but also for people from country's like Greece or Romania, who will have a hard time understanding our language :)
Hello all. Since Slovenia was once part of Yugoslavia, I decided to join this club. I see that a lot of you guys come from Croatia, hopefully I can find somebody from Slovenia. Hope we can get along, if you want to chit-chat or something similar, don't hesitate to message me :D
I've spent like an eternity looking for any anime-forum for people from Bosnia. Honestly whenever I'm down there (currently I'm living in Austria) and I tell anybody that I'm watching anime, they're looking at me like at some kind of alien.
And then.. I FOUND THIS. Even for everybody from Balkan. 100 times better!!
I really hope we can lead some nice discussions here.
And here a short introduction:
my name: Vede
my occupation: student for business informatics
my current whereabouts: Austria
my country of Origin: Bosnia
