Did anyone notice Casshern didn't heal? They zoomed on his hand several times at the end and he still had the slice in his hand. Makes me wonder if his healing abilities are slowing down.

From this episode and seeing what Ryuze went through, it makes me think that robots can sustain a longer life if they just believe they can live or they have a goal. Every episode where they show robots just killing other robots because they've lost all hope in living, seem to die first. All the robots with a dream or a purpose seem to live longer..until someone kills them of course lol.

If this is the case then it makes sense as to why Ryuze just all of a sudden started to brake apart. She's confused and is losing what little goal she had at the start. It also explains why people who where close to Luna died faster. Their goal was to protect her but since she died they had no reason for living anymore...Except for the Death God guy. His goal ended up changing to killing Casshern.

I feel completely lost after watching Ep 18 & 19. Makes me wonder what got me so interested in this show in the first place. Perhaps it's just these 2 episodes on Lyuze's development.. They feel a little out of place (we're approaching the end of the show!) to me.. In addition, I have some doubts on the pacing issue. Hmmmm..

At least it seems that Casshern will finally get to meet Luna in the next episode.. Please do a proper job or else I'll go mad if the next episode is along the same lines as this and Ep 18.

The pacing has gotten so slow recently that I have to force myself to finish it, but the ending of the episodes are always good. The next episode will probably be where things start to get good.

so now, even she is suffering from the ruin
the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures

What was the point of the two attacking robots?
I wonder what Oji is doing now?

I think this is one of the best episodes I've ever seen in any anime. Sure, the story isn't very interesting, but the storytelling was absolutely amazing. The art, the animation, the background music, the coloring, the pace, it all fits together into this beautiful harmony. I am quite frankly amazed that so few of the commenters even noticed. You're like those people who hear a symphony and think "meh, it all sounds the same"

I kinda feel like they're stalling this past few episodes, I hope they pick up the pace again soon.

Also I wish they'd stop using that insert song it's kinda getting annoying.

So...random two robots attack and Lyuze gets all emo and stuff.

That was a really drawn out episode...ugh. But I'm pretty sure Lyuze is gonna die in the end now.

The past two episodes could have been resolved in one.

Overall, I've enjoyed the slower pacing and the deeper focus on the character's emotions and life itself, but I've felt these last two eps were more like beating a dead horse. I liked Lyuze, but as it's already been stated, this mopey emo attitude of her's is getting too drawn out. But at least she didn't go completely "poor me" and actually cut the bitch who was attacking her.

BTW - what is it with Ringo's hyper-sensitive survival instinct? The first tremor of a problem and she is well hidden, along with Casshern's not-quite-best-friend Friender, who also keeps his tail between his legs under most dangerous circumstances.

I was honestly thinking that same thing when they were fighting castor and that other random new character that only lasted one episode. (way too much of that by the way)

this storyline needs to move along :C

Well I guess the point of the two attacking robots was a somewhat manifestation of Lyuze and Casshern's path/future. But it was sooo random that I can't be sure ^^"

Great theory!
Fits also Ringo and Oji- When Oji noticed her cheek rusting he made her to want live with him together forever and happily ever after- so he gave her the purpose in life.
But I'm not sure how the thinking about Casshen's wound had lead you to this? He is immortal even without any purpose in life. May that be the power of Luna? existing for the sake of existing? Btw if she is alive she is quite a bitch... She skipped off the whole world (to die) because she had took offence at Casshern :P and his boss. I don't like her. Sucrificing so many lifes just to prove her rights.
About the speed of healing- since the beggining it has been a different amount of time that Casshern needed to heal himself. That is quite annoying though the amount is random imo :I
Perhaps I know best why it is man alone who laughs; he alone suffers so deeply that he had to invent laughter.

Lyuze, please ruin already.

Seriously.

Lyuze you self-centered bitch. Acting like she's the only whose been wronged by the world.
Then she had to take 2 episodes to get the fuck over herself.

1/5 the more I watch the more the score keeps dropping.
