Not that I'm complaining or anything--I love Megatokyo to death. But it's an OEL comic strip, so why is it here on MyAnimeList? Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with MAL's policy of what to include? |

Well, the rules state that while the site does not accept doujinshi that's fanwork of other published material, the site will accept doujinshi with original material. Technically, this counts under the latter definition. The fact that Megatokyo tries to incorporate the manga comic style sealed the deal. |

Yeah. It's publishing that seals the deal, usually. Note that a lot of the manga-styled webcomics out there aren't on here with the exception of the one's that are published by actual graphic novel publishers. |
