Well I was wondering what people would consider to be the best romance manga. Oh and I mean just a romance manga not some shoujo perverted crap just to be clear. Well that's about it so I'll stop this message now |

I'm yet to read a manga I would consider the "best romantic manga" But these are my most memorable ones -Ahh Megami Sama -Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu -Me-Teru No Kimochi -Rose of Versailles |

I agree with Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu.. Also... Kodocha Gakuen Alice Hana Yori Dango Alice 19th Imadoki! Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne My Heavenly Hockey Club Princess Tutu DN Angel (WAY better than the anime) I don't think these are the "best", I just really enjoyed them. |

I'm not sure if all these manga will count as romance in the pure sense, but they were amazingly good none the less Bitter Virgin Kare Kano Kare First Love Koukou Debut Suzuka |

Romance in the pure sense = Card Captor Sakura and Full Moon wo Sagashite. You can't get more pure than SakuraxSyaoran. |

Some of my favorite "pure" romances: - Imadoki! - Koukou Debut - Lovely Complex Imadoki! topped the list for a good reason, mind. |

Watch Maison Ikkoku. That's the show that set the standard. There's a reason why the 8th and final DVD box set was sold on Ebay for nearly $160 a week or so ago (and the set was only 12 episodes) |
