Well, I watched the movie before watching the anime series, which was a good choice I think, because while watching the anime series I realized how much the movie sucked. Well, it didn't suck, but it was nothing like the anime. Ryoma is more likable in the anime, and less arrogant apparently. I mean he definitely had more respect for his sempais and Seigaku. Tezuka was pretty well played I think though. I watched the movie because it had Kanata Hongo in it, and I was interested in him for a while because of my interest in Shinichi Okazaki. I found Hongo by accident when looking for Shin cosplays, and I found out about Nana 2. Then I looked up info about Hongo and found Prince of Tennis. I know...not a very good way to start liking/become interested in Prince of Tennis. When I first started watching it, I thought I would just watch a few episodes too, but I loved the first episode so much I had to watch lots more, and then I found myself addicted to it, and came to like tennis more than I did before. Now I want to become good at tennis...which could take a while.

Most of the tennis looked ridiculous, it was over exaggerated in the anime, but it worked. Live action just didn't. Plus, you didn't really see anything about the others regulars.

The 2nd Seigaku cast looked much better on the stage in the PoT musicals than in the movie, when they obviously couldn't dance and sing. :) There is one thing I liked: Fuji's Hakugei. iunno..i mean the story was just too fast and ryoma in the live act. just isnt as "cool" as ryoma in the anime..and NO ONE IS SUPPOSED TO SEE INUI's EYES YET (-_____-) and dey totally gave it out>< and at the very first scenes of the live act. i didnt know whos who..welll in short..i "dislike" it..(dey sey "hate" is such a "strong word") but anyways..hate it..

at least Fuji looks nice x3
