This was a lovely episode! It actually made me feel upset more than 16 'cause I felt Nagisa should have been able to experience time with Ushio too! T_T
Can't wait to see things develop.

It is possible that Tomoya let Ushio live with Sanae and Akio because 1. she resembles him of Nagisa, 2. maybe he just didn't want to "lose" - I mean, he lived just with his father for a long time. He sees his own father and how he just couldn't take good care of him (and Tomoya was older, and now we're dealing with baby) and he didn't want to make the same mistake. Not that this is the best (and he's not like his father too) solution, but still, he is young and has almost no experiences - it would be too tough for him. But I think he would be great father with Nagisa ^_^

OMG A LIL NAGISA!!

Ushio's sooo cute :3
I hope Ushio & Tomoya further their relationship, and hopefully maybe Ushio can call Tomoya "Father".

Good Ep, Loved it.

I am really sad about this father-daughter relationship, just because that cute, innocent child looks like Nagisa and was, like the cause of her dead...That's just not enough to give her away for 5 years!
Dammit Tomoya...T__T (something inside of me cried, when Ushio was running away and hiding from Tomoya ._.)
But still, awesome episode, I am really curious what will happen on that trip...
I still dont really get this light orb thing (well, kind of, but stil...), I wonder how KyoAni will fit this in the Anime.
Loved this episode.
(And I want to see Fukooo~)

i thought tomoya would be a lot more depressive, now that he is still able to live and work wonders me. but ushio is awesome,if all children would be like her^^

Depression strikes again; yay~

Seriously, I love all these comments that say Tomoya is now a horrid man. Have you watched the series or not, people?

Tomoya's relationship with Ushio is weird. I thought it would be the opposite of what it is, considering Tomoya's own experience with his father.

Great episode. Ushio is pretty much the cutest thing in existence. I like that she looks exactly like Nagisa - kind of explains Tomoya's distance from her.

Man, though, I totally thought they were going to revive Nagisa. Depressing that it didn't happen.

so sanae and akio tries to fix things by letting them have some time to themselves. tomoya is indifferent and is really getting on my nerves.

Yeah... It really grated on my nerves... The scene in the preview of the next episode screaming at Ushio to GTFO was also sad... although I've actually scene worse than that IRLxD
But I think its understandable...
Based on his thinking... however flawed it is... anything that ever happened between the two of them... including Ushio, was a mistake... I think realistically speaking its was probably better for Ushio's child development to have been raised by her grandparents the last five years and give Tomoya a little time for his wounds to heal... This is probably also what Sanae and Akio believe.

I was actually hoping to see more of those two in this episodexD
Like see flashbacks of their reactions or under what specific circumstances Tomoya asked them to take care of her. That and I just love Akio xD... sorry... "AKI"

Pretty safe to say the remaining episodes will be implemented in a fashion to further Tomoya's character development and introduce Ushio's all the way to

Dammit I read that by accident, because there are all unnecesary spoilers all over the place!

FUCK FUCK FUCK, why do you need to post this =(!

It's EPISODE discussion, not movie / game / manga discussion.

I find this anime more and more interesting as time goes on, also extremely realistic as even though Tomoya had a horrable relationship with his father its easier to go the route you know and not try something different, especially when your in pain. After all to my knowledge they never really talked about Tomoya's mother in the whole series, we just knew the father was distant, maby for the same reason Tomoya was. I know the movie ending and im quite happy to see its not following that road exactly but would certainly like to see a resolution between Tomoya and his father as well as Tomoya and Ushio to truly become family.

I swear, Tomoya can at least TRY to care about his daughter. I'm sure it's hard for him, but he has a daughter now, and he needs to at least have some type of bond. It just seems like Tomoya's a plain babysitter than a parent. I hope he changes.... And on a note, what Key just did was take the ending to the movie, and go, "Fuck it, let's just have them go on a trip and them never having a bond!" -_- BAD decision

Great episode!
I can see why its hard for Tomoya since 1. Ushio is split image to Nagisa and 2. and how he looks at her thinking " it your fault"

But Ushio is totally adorable and looking forward to the development of the father/daughter relationship
