I am curious how everyone reads negima, personally I buy the books as soon as Del Rey releases them translated but I also read the scanlations since the books take so long time and are so far behind.

I do both. There's a lot of quality in the Negima scans but the volumes just give those extras (like those research note thingies from Akamatsu). I also like holding a manga in my hand so I can't pass that up for my favorite series.

My kingdom for a bottle of plum juice!

I like to read the "-chan's", "sama's", "kun's" and other honorifics rather than seeing Mr. something or Miss something every second page

not to mention the faster release

Del Rey uses all the proper honorifics, if they didn't I probably wouldn't buy the books.

For Negima, I:

1) View the raw
2) Read the scanlation
3) Buy Del Rey's volume

Where I am, we don't get mangas at all, so I've got to read the scans.

I like to read the book itself, it just feels more fulfilling and entertaining
