I HATE the new art direction... (-15 loli stats)

Though I do appreciate the Dokuro-chan reference.

Ana is a already weird role for Noto Mamiko, but I swear that's not her. I double checked the credits, and it is but still.... >.>

Yeah, they look chubbier than in previous series. But yeah, Dokuro-chan reference kind of overweights that.

Also, the question mark symbol in the font they used for subs was annoying me BIG TIEM. Thank god I was too busy watching lolis to actually get annoyed.

Although I had alot of trepidation at first considering the drastic change to the character design from what we've been used to, I have to admit that after watching Miu go through her usual crazy antics (going to the afterlife, drawing friends in fake crazy situations) I completely was able to ignore their looks and just enjoy the show as usual. Still if possible for ep 2, I'd really would like the series to go back to the previous character design. It's more faithful to the Barasui art and easier on the eyes.

Damn, that was so funny. I laughed a lot. The animation was okay imo.

Do you mean the spiked metal club?

Spiked metal clubs are peculiar to Onis.

Plot and art as good as ever, but they should'nt be so tubby. Makes them less childish in my view.

In the second part of the episode they did'nt look so round... and just older as everybody says. :)

I just downloaded the HQ version of it... Amazing. I really hope that they make another series, if possible while still staying true to the source material.

That was the funniest IM episode i've seen since the tv series. Miu nearly always amuses me and, yeah, the character designs are wierd. But I was never a fan of this series art work to begin with.
