| yeah, I love Allen's past -- it goes a long way to explaining his unique attitude towards akuma ^__^ and Jean-kun always gets me "xD poor kid, but I suppose it begs the question, if it was all real and we knew about the Millenium Earl and akuma, would that be enough for us to resist calling back the ones we love? o___O D.Gray-Man just got deep >x< |

| I liked the episode Allen's past its quite curious but I want to know why does he was born with the anti-akuma weapon. maybe he is more linked to the Earl than I think |
| One of the resons to watch this anime was Lenalee ^^ This is the first episode with real Lenalee-action and it showed me: D.Gray Man was a good decision ;) Great Episode! I liked the cool pictures of Allen. But Jean-kun was rather stupid to stay next to Allen while the Earl was attacking oO (well, of course it's a different situation if you are sitting save at home, watching the episode or if you were just saved from being killed by a demon that was your best friend) |
| I just watched episodes 1-7 in one hit and I am really enjoying it.. At first I thought it was going to be another Chrno Crusade, but it would seem there is a lot more at work here than first meets the eye! It might be a bit early to say, but I think I might like this even more than Chrno.. Lets see if it can keep it up for another 40 or more episodes! |

| Seemed like the series got deeper in this episode... Maybe because of what Allen was saying about the Akuma. It was nice having his past revealed to us early on... since it explains his attitude. :D And pff, figures the Earl would just run off like that... |
| LOL Lenalee looked like Sailor Moon with those flying boots of hers :P But I feel bad for Allen. His story is really really sad :(. However I'm surprised how realistic the Millennium Earls' proposal to all those in suffering is. When you're in grief and had just lost someone dear to you how could you resist the temptation to bring them back?... |

| I suppose if you entirely give in to despair, you're willing to listen to a creepy fat guy with a metal skeleton. XP I'm glad we found out a bit about Allen's past this early in the series. A bit surprising that the show would have the main character give in to making someone a demon (though he was just a kid at the time). Lenalee's boots are kind of cool, though a bit silly. Maybe she'll start pulling off crazy moves in the future. Also curious to learn more about Allen's sensei, and about Allen's arm and eye. |

| Was nice to see some of Allen's past although is it me or did his father seem abit bipolar? First hes really pissed at Allen for bringing him back as an akuma and curses him but then hes telling him he loves him lol? I guess he might have cursed him to help protect him against akuma since the eye seems pretty useful for that. Oh well guess they'll explain it more as the show goes on so far i'm enjoying it. |

| I mean, it's a good episode and all, but either I missed something or they made a mistake. One scene showed Allen's anti-akuma weapon on his right arm, but then the rest of the episode it was on his left. |

| Ah, love this episode. I remember most of it, especially the scene with him calling for Mana... Really powerful moment. I wonder though how Mana was able to curse him like that, especially while his soul was trapped in an akuma. Don't remember if they ever explain that later in the series or not... |
| Ohh, so that's how Allen got his "cursed" eye. Mana might've really done that to protect Allen from the Akuma. Although...I wonder if Mana really knew that by doing so would allow Allen to gain the ability to see souls. I also wonder what happened to Allen prior to him meeting Mana. I liked his backstory. Allen's a good kid, knowing that Mana would not want Allen to seek revenge, but instead use his power to defeat more Akuma. I'm surprised that Allen was born with the Innocence, that's quite interesting, and it does make Allen fated to fight as an exorcist. Lenalee's power is cool, float like a cloud in the sky, and come down as heavy as iron (I think that's what Toma said). Will we ever see Mana's face? :/ |
| Innocence of Lenalee was cool, and Allen showed that Earl prick who is the boss!! More Lenalee in the next episode, good good. |

| Its sort of hard when the word Mana is being used as a name. Ive actually encountered another anime char with the name as well. I just always think of Mana as a source of energy for RPG characters just because playing RPG games drilled that into me. |
| I don't like the killenium earl's voice in english. He sounds like the rich texan from the simpsons. Is he better in japanese? |

| A wonderful episode It was great to see Lenalee's Power and also Allen's past made me a little sad and unfortunately Allen seems to have not regained his Power yet |

| Millennium Earl acts like a candy-man captivating kids whenever he sees an opening, right? Like even have had Allen turn his father into an Akuma, which obviously didn't end well. Though interesting backstory he had nevertheless. |
