I just finished reading the manga and I absolutely love it (except for the happy ending part)... anyway, I was thinking how does the anime compare with it? I heard plot-wise the anime suck compare to the manga... anything else?

okay... I finished the anime now...

I can answer my own question, but just in case there's others out there like me who was interested...

I say the manga is a lot better in terms of story, the anime simply scratched the surface, it really really pales in comparison

I haven't read the manga, but yeah it seems like there was much more in it when I looked through a description. I have one question that I can't let go of though, that applies to both the manga and the anime. Yuka has a crush on Kouta, right? And yet, they're cousins. What is going on with that?

I agree. There are lots of unfilled holes in the anime. I preferred the manga.

Manga is far better. The anime takes what Lynn Okamoto wrote and dumbs it down to the extreme.

I guess its not a terrible thing, the anime is very enjoyable, but I hate how they changed it.

I read most of the manga and my cousin told me the ending in detail. I also watched the series. The anime SUCKED compared to the manga! When my cousin was telling me the ending of the manga I couldn't stop crying! The anime also makes nearly every single character seem SO stupid. I watched the dubbed version and it was awful! Kouta's voice had no emotion whatsoever and the others just didn't seem like they were trying to even act. The only voice I liked in the dubbed was Lucy's.
The anime was a huge dissappointment.
