I can't believe they played Torch at the end. Way to kill the mood.

Anyway, B part was done excellently IMO. The light colors, bgm, animation, and voice acting were all amazing.

Indeed. and the title is really befitting.

I laughed at this episode (Okazaki's "who are you?" whenever he sees dark-haired Sunohara probably never fails to make me laugh), and cried at this episode. That's why I love Clannad so much ^_^

But, till the end, I was kinda hoping they would let Nagisa live and make it somehow different from the movie and surprise us, but ... now I feel it was so naive and stupid from me ... *cries, cries, cries* I will be missing Nagisa, but at least, we (and Okazaki too ^^) have Ushio now ... I am actually really curious about next episode.


And that Torch at the end killed me too o_O

when I first found out what would happen to her, I was actually happy because I didn't like her back then but After Story made me love her and now I am really sad T_T

Well, after story is dedicated to nagisa and ushio afterall.. but i still don't like nagisa :P

i liked the new year celebration with sunohara, fujibayashi and kotomi. Kotomi in kimono was WIN! XD As always, Kotomi is my fav in clannad. love her~

as i thought, nagisa died.. or maybe not.. maybe she's just unconscious and tomoya is just overreacting.. ^^; either ways, the end of the episode portrayed it as if she died..
to be honest, it made me quite sad.. well, it's meant to make us feel depressed anyways. but as everyone said, Torch totally spoiled the mood.. i immediately shut down the TV when i heard that song.. lol.. that was really disappointing..

i don't understand.. pls explain.. for me i don't see any chance of it. unless they've got oxygen tanks and a heart pacer in the room. or another miracle like wat Akio pulled off.

This episode proved that TORCH is nowhere as good as Dango Daikazoku.

Dango fits a vast number of occasions, comic episodes as well as sad/emotional ones. The end of Kotomi arch is one example of how a successful ED song can be.

Torch on the other hand, is way too lively for a tear-jerker like AS. The episode where Tomoya and Nagisa get married had a good tune going until the ED kicked in. Same with this episode.

Which is why I just skip the ED nowadays...OP is still good.
Superior combination: AS OP + Dango ED = Profit

Such a sad ep i just finish watching it and i am like balling my eyes out right now.

Perfect 5 for me

Damn my hands is still shaking and I still couldn't stop crying out for loud.
I still need more tissue.

I like TORCH better than Dango Daikazoku, but they shouldn't have played it in this episode.
