DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh man the chasing still continues, Female Titan is on the run, RIP to those recon corps who help out Levi's team. Huh what would Eren do if he wants to transform or not. Looks like a flashback occurred about how Eren test on his motives. Huh they captured the Female Titan, a great success. Above all animation and story are top notch. |

| I was disappointed at first simply because the flashback, but the flashback was pretty entertaining and the last minutes of the episode were pretty crazy. The scene where Eren partially turned into a titan was hilarious. Hanji never fails to make me laugh. She's such a funny character.  The OST during the chase at the end of the episode >>> Overall it was a nice episode. |
| slight drop of quality in the talking scenes (as well as a couple of reused frames from the previous episode) and quite a few scenes where very little was animated at all. Pretty good though, i enjoyed Hanji being psycho over titan-eren. Looks like they're saving up for the end of it. Also, for those confused as to where people are watching it, it aired on a livestream. |
| I just love the way Levi is dealing with this now with his flare gun. So it turned out to be a sound vibration/flare gun. Hmm..... Meh, I already lost count how many kills the FT has now. The flashbacks were necessary I guess but it was adapted from the manga so I can deal with it. I liked this episode even without the action though. Hanji ftw! Also the OST, anyone know what the name of it is when they were being chased? Anyways, pretty nice episode imo and I'll look forward next time when FT meets those blades in the flesh. Oh and I swear Hanji is going to get into real trouble someday:  |

| An alright episode. The flashback was quite long but it was needed and the spoon part was funny. Next weeks episode should be good. |

| Wow, I was watching the raw, and while doing it, I read also the same lines from the manga, and it was pretty much accurate for the most part. Damn, now I know that they weren't flames in the ep 18's preview but of Eren's titan form billowing out smoke. That flashback was quite an insightful part of this epsiode, so now I know at least that it needs one to have a motive before transforming into a titan. And that damn FT, finally captured! Looks like those wires in the OP served as a mini-spoiler of sorts, but a negligible one at least. Overall, great episode, good thing they ended it in a cliffhanger, or I'll just be hung up if they ended with Eren's flashback. |

Doesn't mean it is bad especially since focused on needed character development and new info on Titans. Recon Corps finally got a hit on the Female Titan too instead of getting their assess for the third time. Good episode in my view, only real problem was with the spotty animation. |

| Damn, they were all ready to kill Eren once they saw that arm. The guy was just trying to pick up a spoon lol. It's a good thing that Eren choose to have faith in the Survey Corps, who knows what could have happen if he had transformed. Also, although they caught the female titan, I get the feeling that she might escape. |

| That was alright. OST was glorious. Flashback must've been useful for those anime-only guise. If you liked the characters next episode is gonna be a great episode for you. |

| Love this episode....... Hanji is hilarious XD Respect for those soldiers that sacrificed themselves to stall the female titan and allowed them to achieve their goal. Looks like Levi was the only informed one in his squad to capture the female titan alive. |

All he wanted to do was to pick up the spoon. But hell yeah, they captured the Female Titan! She was definitely shocked. Also, Levi must've had a lot of faith in Eren not to turn into a titan, that could've potentially ruined the plan. |
