I don't understand what is all the hype about this drama. None of the characters grab any of my attention with their exaggerated gags, even tried to watch it again but failed to see why it is so popular. >_< Got sick of the cheesy happiness and very cliche plot.

That's just me though. I've seen so many riveting reviews. Most of the drams I have watched are because of the hype. I'm almost always disappointed.

Mei-chan no Shitsuji



The story revolves around a young woman named Mei, who was rescued as a young girl by someone calling himself her "butler." With only a vague memory, though, the experience seems like just a dream. But one day, after her parents' accidental death, he appears: Rihito comes from a line of outstanding butlers, and he has been appointed to serve her! Now her ordinary life has completely flipped, as she discovers that she's actually the heiress to a fortune, and is forced to transfer to St. Lucia Girls' Academy, where all the students have butlers! As a result, her childhood friend Kento decides to enroll in a butler school so that he can stay close to her.

Magicians Of Love

Mostly because it reminds me of Hana Yori Dango..


Xiao Bei, the lead girl is a poor, but talented beauticians. Meets three handsome, rich beauticians. Hates the jerk Ya Si (like Doumyouji). Has a crush on the mysterious Er Qi (like Rui). Then there's the playboy Fei Nan Du (Soujiroh and Akira combined). Ends up working at the three guys hair salon through various misunderstandings. Goes back and forth with her feelings for Er Qi and Ya Si (finds out he isn't as much of a "jerk" as she thought).

Yeah, you see what I mean.

did you try the anime of nodame?

i have started with the anime, which is much better than the live action in my opinion
some of the character are so awful in the drama (like franz)
and some are too pretty (like nodame)

Yeah I haven't seen much, I'm a little picky, I really only want to watch really good dramas. Unfortunately the majority of them are overrated by fangirls because their favorite hot actor is in it. Very, very annoying.



Opposite effect for me, I couldn't stand the anime. Also, I think people got to have a taste in classical music to enjoy either of them. And so far from what I seen, the dramas adaptations are better than the animes. Or had more potential to be better. I must be weird. But I find the live action scenes and the characters that are portrayed better in the live action versions.

I think I've seen about 100, but haven't seen anything new for over a year now...
Need to catch up soon.

I can't fathom the reason of anyone giving the drama series Liar Game a 3. I also noticed that even though I only seen about 15, you seen about nothing that I have even though you seen about 100. Except for some overrated dramas and the one I dropped. Kind of mind blowing odds there, (*checks 8thSin's profile* and you like Sekai, the root of all problems in School Days? Mind explodes). x_x
