And suddenly... Makoto appeared. o_O Didn't expect that to happen.

It's sad... all of it is sad...

It's as if Makoto is welcoming him to the other side or something... Who cares, Makoto~~! <3 ^_^

Very touching episode indeed, both Nayuki and Ayu made me really sad :/

Oh, god. I wasn't prepared for Makoto. I haven't cried like this since Fuko's arc in Clannad.

It's decided. Kanon is officially #1 on my favourites.

Tragedy after tragedy, so Ayu did die, how did that final transaction take place though =/? Getting a little too super-natural but very intense.

Hope Yuuichi doesn't die or smth =.=

gosh yuiichi's memory is sh*t LOL how can you forget when someone's dying in front of you?

especially if you meet the same damn person 7 years later...this plot is too wacked out,but that's why i love kanon xD

when yuiichi and nayuki were alone in that room i was so like please don't kiss or i will have to bring kanon down to 9 :p

getting forward...the last minutes of the anime we're totally screwed up...so yuiichi wakes up remembering what happened to ayu 7 years ago,he takes the doll and her backpack and starts running to the forest???

and he sais something like i have to die in order to meet her and then randomly makoto appears and hugs him?

ooookaaaay!?
i will find out tomorrow night so i can wait :)

anyway i still support my theory that this all is somehow a dream...there was too much dream hints through the anime...

one last thing...if yuiichi dies that means that Nayuki is the last 'important' character alive?

Not really diggin' how this whole plot is unraveling.
It's a good anime but it doesn't reach the awesomeness that Clannad is.
Kanon hasn't even made me cry once throught the series.

So it's true Ayu fell from that tree.. It was alreay hinted at with the little Yuuichi saying Ayu should be carefull climbing that tree.

Yuuichi has definitely suppressed all what has happened those seven years ago..

Makoto returns for a few seconds, now that wasn't expected though..

damn you wind! damn you! poor ayu :'(

I definitely wasnt prepared for Makoto...still, nice to see her again :-D

I don't reckon it's all a dream, at least it's not Yuuichi's dream...if anything, the dream (if it is one) is viewed from Ayu's perspective, as hinted at in all those little preludes to episodes that stopped a while ago (see also the little 'dream' comment she made in ep 20).

Finale next episode then...hope the 24th is an 'alternative world' show, maybe showing what would have happened had Yuuichi chosen one of the other routes (like Tomoyo and Kyou's eps in Clannad) rather than a recap like Air's last episode...

In this episode somehow I want to cry but the tears didn't come out perhaps I played too much BFBC2. Poor Nayuki T_T
