WAAAAAHHHH!! NAYUKI!!! So sad~~! T-T

seriously I felt the tears on the verge of coming out this episode. and shit! the animation was amazing!

god...this is so much better than the Toei. in 2002 yuuichi didn't give a crap about Nayuki, I was so pissed at him. There was so much tension between them in the later episodes too because of Yuuichi's ass-of-jack-ness. This time he did the best thing anyone could do in his situation (except actually going for Nayuki herself, but that's another discussion), so he's awesome for that.

sadly it seems there's only two eps left, the next one's probably the last one with plot (since it's labelled finale, and the one after that is probably a recap just like with Air). Seems we're gonna end up with an Ayu ending, since she's all we see in the preview. Wah...

It seems like yesterday when Kanon prelude came out. Now it's almost over.

Great episode, i agree, it is so much better than the 2002 version. Very intense

Finally, KyoAni gives me something unpredictable by bringing Makoto back even if it were just for a couple of seconds. I really liked this episode and after seeing that scene with Ayu, it's really hard to hate her :P. Yes, this version is better than the Toei verson, but it's really not that hard to improve upon something that already came up rather than writing from scratch. Hey, wildebeest0001 remember the spoiler thing, even though it's been said many times, shhhhh they still don't know if she comes back or not ^_~.

...what spoilers? Even I don't know what's gonna happen next episode (at least not for sure)

EDIT: Then again, it's not like it matters, there's really only four of us who post stuff in this thread anyway, sigh, not much love for Kanon relative to other threads.

Yeah, I felt the Makoto scene was a bit random? Like, "People want to see Makoto again, and we did leave it open that she could come back... I guess we'll have her pop up out of nowhere for 30 sec or so!" :P

I don't really think he can end up with Ayu. Kinda obvious at this point that she's some kind of ghost or supernatural being... I mean, she died? O_o?

omg i was right about Ayu fallin off the tree... but did the end bit really happen i mean didnt she like fell off the tree before he was able to give her the head band?

I also knew that from the first time they showed her up the tree. And yeah, seems like Ayu has visited him as a ghost even before they met again after seven years. Yuuichi must have forgotten about her death pretty fast. o_O

God, this anime keeps throwing stuff at me! I never seen it coming.

Was Ayu supposed to have died from falling off the tree? I thought she was just supposed to be badly hurt because I don't really know how you could forget something like that, unless if there's some supernatural reason why Yuuichi's memory is not intact.

Kitagawa is a pretty cool guy, I must say. <3

Nayuki! Poor Nayuki... I will say that she's certainly grown on me quite a bit here. And her seiyuu is just amazing.

i have to say tho i am surprised at how different yuuichi is in this one, he tries so hard to help everyone.

damn that ayu bit was confusing she was portrayed as being paralyzed, and then on the same day he was leaving she gets better and he gives her the hairband... or somehow she lives, cuz i can't imagine her being a ghost because well akiko and everyone know of her existance... obviously the tree still plays a major significance... was he there when they cut the tree down, did they cut the tree down because she fell from it, cuz i see no other logical explanation behind cutting one tree in a forest...

Ayu... *cries*

This was the most epotional episode so far :/
Didn't really make me that sad though.
So Ayu's an angel... Ghost/Angel same deal in the end :3 ...Actually, even without having watched Kanon(2003) nor having played the visual novel, I should had realized she was an angel instead... AND THAT'S WHY KIDS SHOULD NEVER CLIMB TREES.
2 more episodes to go, but the 23rd says it's the finale...Meh I'll see it today and watch 24 tomorow :D

Sad but amazing episode! I just love it! Made my cry...yet..
