just found out its supposed to be released in early summer. Which means the status here 'finished airing' is probably inaccurate

So is it actually out already in cinemas?

How come the run-time seems funny.. 1 hour and 12 minutes? Isn't that a bit short for a cinematic release?

in a way its a good thing. Oshii mamurou likes to drag things a bit, sky crawlers and Angel's Egg are good examples. That isn't necessarily a bad thing if it adds to the 'feel' but if the movie is too long (like 2 hrs) then it does seem dragged. Anyways, Oshii ROCKS!!

Well, this movie is running on the Dutch Animation festival saterday and sunday (www.haff.nl Site is also available in English) so I guess the sub is out/will probably be out soon?

About the run time: In Japan it's not uncommon to call something a 'movie' when the runtime is, say, only 45 minutes. Kinda depends on what it is. The Digi Carat movie had a really short runtime compared with what we call movies. But for that series the actual episodes were only 15 minutes or something? So a half hour episode gets promoted to 'movie'. XD

All you need in life is a sick mind and someone to share it with.
Care to share?
