Monogatari Series: First Season
| hello, i heard that Nekomonogatari: Kuro is a good anime, so I want to watch it however on MAL it says there's a prequel to this and its Kizumonogatari, but it hasn't been aired yet.. and it says the sequel to Nekomonogatari: Kuro is Bakemonogatari, but it says that was aired in 2010... so it makes no sense as a sequel if Nekomonogatari: Kuro was released in 2012... x___x so my question is can i watch Nekomonogatari: Kuro straight away or is there a prequel to it i should watch so i get what's going on? |

| Release order of the anime/novels: Bakemonogatari > Kizumonogatari ( originally planned) > Nisemonogatari > Neko : Kuro > Second season. Chronological order of the story: Kizumonogatari > Nekomonogatari: Kuro> Bakemonogatari > Nisemonogatari> Second season. You better watch Bakemonogatari, but if you are only interested in this, then you can watch it. But you will probably get confused so I personally would go with the release order since that the order the author intended for his story. |
