This show is still moving along a bit slow but I have a feeling it will pick up very soon. The lack of background story so far is a bit annoying and intriguing at the same time.

I'm glad to see the beginnings of some shoujo-ai. Should make the show worth watching if for that alone. ^^

Overall I like it so far and am going to continue to watch. One of my favorites of the new season.

That was a good episode, and I would call the 'lack of background' just keeping the slow pace, which is not a bad thing. But I'm really glad to see more shoujo-ai, hoping it could turn into yuri... yeah, I know I'm expecting too much xP

My opinion of this show is slowly getting better. Now all thats left is for some hot yuri action :D

I agree with you Ishitori. There's nothing wrong with the slow pace. It just keeps you wanting more. Would be nice if it got yuri. Here's hoping. =D

The commander looks like a man.

This slow episode with a try of comedy in the dinner part was quite amusing. Not too fast paced or heart breaking, just throwing more coal to the campfire before he starts burning. I was amazed with both the simplicity and the good design of the "ships". Btw Mari's hair rocked... She should use it more times.

(Yes we can expect some yuri i think.)

You young'uns. A man can't move for tripping over lesbian tendencies these days. I remember when I were a lad, two girls could be just good friends on one of them japanimanimation things without all and sundry whispering "shoujo-ai" and "yuri" behind their backs. Course, back then this was all BBSs and dial-up modems, far as the eye could see.

Tbh i never saw a Yuri / Shoujo-ai anime and im still alive. The signs are simply too huge to ignore :p so we all start whispering about it. Its just another way of discussing the episodes :)

Ugh it's so slow, I really hope it picks up or does something significant soon. I mean 3 episodes in and I still couldn't care less about those big sci fi ship things.

I don't know...it was such a chore to get through this episode. I don't care about the characters and I'm no longer curious about the damn ship.

Not really finding it that engaging t o be honest. I'll stick with it a bit longer but it's kinda annyoing when you find yourself couting the seconds till the end.

i knew iiiit, its gonna be a yuuuriiii =__= hur... *not thrilled* ah well i saw it coming... but its not like me to drop an anime just because of something like that so i shall go on... but its so.. slooooooooooow, its painfull to watch T__T

'Yuri' was listed as series genre on MAL. So unless you guys go by title only you should've seen it. It's really weird how so many ppl are surprised about that. O_o;

I'm suprised too.. didn't think it would be a shoujo ai series. Found it on the anime calendar for october on anidb.info and thought that it looked like a series with nice animation and interesting story... But I'm going to see every episode of this sreies, shoujo ai doesn't scare me off, 'cause I like romance series:)

Anyway.. This episode has actually made me go waiting for more, I have to find out the whol background story, and what's going too happen next.
