Shingeki No Kyojin ending in less than 20 volumes?

If you have been following all his interview then you would know that he is not milking the series. If you feel the series should be ending now, then I guess you are OK with rush endings.

I will let you know, that author planned to finish the manga a long time ago with all characters dead, but because of popularity he extended the story. So now we have all of this political bullshit arcs.

The politics part has been foreshadowed a long time. You forgot ymir was hinting about historia being from royalty in chapter 30 something? This was before the series got a anime. I could name a ton more stuff.
The story wasn't extended, he extended it because he wanted to give his characters more depth. The anime made him see the characters in a different light. Everything in the politics arc has been foreshadowed in earlier chapters of snk, which shows that he did not shove in random plot points out of his ass.

I foreshadow some random projects in my emails too. And usually pull them out of my ass the day before. So that is a poor argument.

??? Do you know what foreshadowing means? It basically means giving hints of what's to come in later events in a story. And I told you that Historia and the political arc was foreshadowed before the series became popular.

The political arc would have been in the series if he had stick to his original ending. The only difference is that it wouldn't have lasted as long as how it is now. And that's because the political arc had a lot of character development focus. This arc developed historia,Erwin, Levi, eren, and to a smaller extend Sasha, jean and coonie, even Kenny.

He did not extend the story, the series extended because he wanted to give a lot of his characters a great need of development. He said it in his interview, and you can see it in the political arc.

He said he wants to end the series around 20 volumes, and this was after the snk anime ended, but like a lot of writers plans can change. And now that its ending around volume 25/27. People are going to crucify him for it. Smh

They are still not close to basement.

They are at Eren home town. But their obviously battling against the enemy right now. I'm going tbh here, everything you are saying doesn't make sense. I made some points and you just brush if off calling it excuse foreshadowing. I think you don't know how story are written.

As far as I read on the interwebs the series is being extended by adding more background to the characters and a different ending, likely longer. Chapter 77 was mostly character background and 2 scenes of Barreltholt, and everyone loved it.
Other series overstay their welcome by decades, I'm grateful a good show like this can run for a few extra years by providing well written extra content and offering a more satisfying ending.
