| As of right now it's only a manga adaption. Though l certainly wouldn't sneeze at any plans for a future anime version. |

| W.I.T.C.H. is not considered anime. This manga is because it's Japanese, but the original comics aren't either, being Italian. As far as the original question of the thread, I think it's been answered, but I will say that the two-season American Disney cartoon, which used a very anime-like art style, is very good and I would rec it, especially if you like magical girls. |
