DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Aww poor Tomoko and her umbrella...well, I guess she's going to have to go home wet. Poor Tomoko-chan ;.; I feel sorry for her lol  The part with the paths that Tomoko had to choice was also funny :D. I didn't expect the sniper and target though this episode. Great episode again, very enjoyable imo. The brother and sister bonding is kinda cute :3 |

| Tomoko has some bad luck, her umbrella just broke randomly in the rain leaving her all wet. Also, that was a mean spirited move putting scalding hot soup on Tomoki's neck to wake him up, didn't expect him to kick her so hard or even kick at all though since he was sick. Tomoko ended up catching his cold the next day at the end from caring for him. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| She forgot to bring the book, and got scolded by the old guys when she talks like that. She's very painful to be in the same space with others that she needs to talk, which is her weakest point. Wow, she caused her brother to get sick, and how she wants to get sick + jealous of having someone to see him. |

| I just finished the manga. The director really know how to arrange the chapter to make it look like a 20 minute Anime. This episode is as great as the last. Nice job xD There is only like 4 volume.... is that enough for 12 episode? Tomoko almost had a mental breakdown when her umbrella lost. I lol when she realize its only beside her. The dog lost a fight to the cat xD |

| This show is definitely shaping up to be my favorite this season. Tomkoo is seriously the most pitiful character I've seen in a long time, yet also one of the funniest. Things are slowly looking up for her. Though she didn't really realize it, she got one guy to be nice to her, even if it seemed to be out of mere sympathy. I was kinda surprised she glossed over on that. Then again, she didn't see him put that umbrella there, nor heard that he bought it for her, so it;s understandable. I felt bad for when she got scolded by the teacher and eight now, I can seriously relate to her not wanting to go to school now. I had a fall-out with my boss yesterday, and now I dread going to work. Ah, the eternal 'no one ever picks me during PE' syndrome that plagues unpopular people, how much of my school life I have suffered of this (until I could fake my way out of it through my last class of junior high, because I broke my collarbone). And Tomoki is popular, to the point where even seems to have a girl crushing over him. No wonder Tomoko got so depressed over that. That psychology test was funny, though I don't quite get the connection between each option and their outcome. Then again, psychology is filled with weird stuff like that, so it's probably nothing I should focus too much on. |

| This was another great episode, I just love Tomoko's antics, special mention to "nursing" her brother and her fantasy of being a sniper. Kuroki no Basket was funny too, not to mention Yuu-chan's reply we knew was coming. 5/5. |

| Wow, this show is kinda hard to get through. I got teary-eyed at the beginning when she started crying after her teacher yelled at her. Then with all the times I laugh, I stop and think of the real implications of what Tomoko is thinking and how she feels, and it's quite sobering. Such is a dark comedy, I suppose. The director of this show (and the mangaka) really managed to capture what dealing with depression or a family member/friend with depression is like. I'm really hoping to see some happy developments by the finale (haven't read the manga). If I'm getting emotional now, I can only imagine all the feels this could bring out. |

But my best guess was that it was a reference to the childhood flashback of Lucy Liu's character O-Ren Ishii in Kill Bill Volume 1 (2003) where she is a highrise rooftop sniper wearing a one-piece red outfit. Thanks to you, I now have two classic anime to watch. The Kill Bill 1 rooftop sniper scene was likely a reference to City Hunter, whose manga ran from 1985 to 1991. Angel Heart came later. However, the main character in City Hunter used a Colt Python .357 Magnum, which is a powerful handgun. A long-range precision shot using a sniper rifle is more like Golgo 13. |
