| Nothing really unexpected, but Miyu was kinda funny. |
| Enter Miyu Edelfelt. She's not Luvia's relative though. That part with Ruby and Sapphire explaining was just oozing with TM exposition and terminologies. From Odo to Heroic Spirits to Noble Phantasms. Loved it. They padded out the scenes a bit here and had it end to the end of chapter 3 exactly but it was done well. It served that Miyu is a character to watch out in this show given how she's shown as the perfect student but is a real loner and takes this mission seriously. Just that they're giving those 4 classmates too many screentimes. They don't get that prominent until 2wei. Oh well, more for the lolicons and more fuel for people to drop this. Great episode. Looking forward to the next one as the next fight is pretty good. |

I mean, I watch/enjoy a lot of mahou shoujo that aren't original in almost every aspect, but they always have a little spice to them, y'know? This just feels very.. bland, in my opinion of course. | Great episode i guess? i mean the episode is nothing but an introduction for Miyu But i wonder why they having such a slow pace when there are more things to cover later on. Not sure how they will fit everything else in 7 episodes and 4 cards left to capture. That means they are going to shorten other parts.... |

They are only covering the first season of manga with this season, with possibility of Kuro cliffhanger at the end. |

Well maybe its good to start off slow and go faster bit by bit. I thought this episode was kinda boring and the only interesting part was at the end when Miyu asks why she is collecting cards. |

| The competition between Rin and Luvia is hilarious no matter how often i see it. And now some competition between Miyu and Ilya mainly at school, tho the one most annoyed by it was Taiga who didn't seem to understand it herself. |

Either anime original scene or after-credits teaser flashforward to that character's first appearance, with the S2 starting the same way Zwei does and showing us how we get there. Quite a perfect seuqel-hook. |

| Calculating the volume of a cone from first principles. She was doing it 5 years earlier than I did LOL And 6.09 seconds for 50m?! Not a chance can Illya beat her -- though I wish they at least showed that Illya is already almost super-human when it comes to running before showing this race. |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| Nice episode. Luvia getting kick in the face was hilarious. "A mysterious transfer student appears, huh" "You see this a lot in magical girls series" I like how they broke the 4th wall there. Sapphire's voice sounds familiar, I research a bit and that its the same VA who voiced Kuuko from Haiyore Nyaruko series. Taiga is damn funny. Miyu is rather interesting. I kinda like her magical clothing for some perverted reason. *ahem* Anyway...episode number is a bit confusing. MAL says its 10 episodes while ANN its 12 episodes. Hoping it'll be 12. Because 10 is too damn short! |

That's one of the upsides of having the lead character be anime otaku. Illya is the type of character who most likely has seen the entirety of CCS, Nanoha and Madoka and most likely spent whole time Madoka was airing posting speculations about it. | Not a bad episode. I guess I have to wait next week for the action. Hopefully they will cover more of Miyu soon, since right now she is just too perfect and got the whole serious I can do it alone act. I'm curious on her whole reason of fighting. |

| This series is a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I will say this though I'm really not liking Miyu and this is coming from someone who usually really like this archetype with one of my favorite characters Homura being one of them. She just seems really boring and bland, instead of mysterious and cool. |
