| Mr. Onodera takes on a nihilistic view on life due to the shocking events he just witnessed. He distances himself from the girl, but he realizes that he actually has feelings for her, and he still has not asked the girl her name. The flashback ends. We are warped to contemporary times, with Mr. Onodera saying that he quit his pottery job amidst the chaos, broke up with his girlfriend, and since then, has not relied upon anybody else for anything—and concludes with telling us his philosophical view on life: Humans are inherently 'detestable and ugly', to which the waitress replies that she will never hate Mr. Onodera for his past, and offers to help him come to terms with his past by visiting the shop. The last panel depicts Punpun's uncle and the girl at a train station. Happening at the same time, Punpun has dark thoughts as he realizes that he is scared to lose Aiko to Yaguchi. Edit: Typo |

This isn't romantic love, but is rather dark, so it's a no go. Maybe madhouse can adapt this, but punpun's character design would be hard to pinpoint. |

| Yuichi is a surprisingly 'good' person, especially compared to Punpun. What a dumb comparison to make... |

| Despite the disgusting things she'd heard from Yuichi himself, she still accepted him for who he is and even encouraged him to confront his past by going back to the pottery school. The only thing Punpun can do now is to pray that Yaguchi breaks his foot along the way. |

| My feel goes terrible. This story is so dark. After 5 years Onodera meet Aiko again within the darkness past. For real love is really mysterious. |
| I can understand why Yuichi is so broken. If we exclude the part that he has sex with his girlfriend in front of the girl, which was really dumb, I think he handled the situation decently. It could have been much worse |

| The whole Yuichi arc was so captivating yet so harrowing. Going into this, I was expecting the series to be especially dark but these past 3 chapters were genuine wall-gazers. Seeing how cynical Punpun's uncle became after that whole experience makes me wonder how Punpun may turn out if his relationship with Aiko takes a tragic turn too. |

| Re-reading 2 years later to finished this manga for the 1st time, I still don't get it why this girl made this. She really suffered false imprisonment for your mother or she's just a psycho? |
