I thought Berserk was finished, but this page told me it is still publishing. So... is it really still publishing? Because the anime is finished long ago, in it's full. If you like, could you please PM me? 'There are no facts, only interpretations' - Nietzsche |

Berserk is acroding to the mangaka 1/3 done ^.^ So yeah, it's still publishing, but since we had a nice flow of chapters in the winter, he might take a month of or something. |

I don't want to have any additional expectations on top of the already existing ones and I legit source of the would be much appreciated. seeing as 301 left us with a message of "See You Next Time", I'd hazard a break of 3 months at the least and 5 at the most. typically, when he leaves that message, the hiatus tends to be on the lengthy side. |

well miura-sensei doesn't work with assistants which is why it takes so damn long for chapters to come out and i heard he wanted to make it around 50 volumes or so |

Mmm thanks for your replies, guys. I think I will start reading Beserk once it's finished, it's supposed to be quite good. 'There are no facts, only interpretations' - Nietzsche |

why don't you just try it out? o.o I think Berserk is a manga that you can read very fast because it doesn't contain a ridiculous amount of text per panel/page ^^ Also, the drawings are just gorgeous! |

The problem is, that I still have a lot to read... I'm reading Gantz now and I am planning to read Homculus afterwards and after that I want to Bokuran (don't know if that's the correct name, I can't remember right now) ^^ But I'll give it a shot after I've finished those manga's! But that might take a half year lol 'There are no facts, only interpretations' - Nietzsche |

Honestly I'd prefer waiting 3 years and have at least 100 chapiters than waiting months for 20-30 lousy pages. |

I've forgotten about it on numerous occasions, with it's extremely slow release, it might as well not be publishing. |

It is still publishing, but at a snail's pace. Miura draws everything himself and his attention to detail is absolutely insane, so those huge splashy double-spread action shots that take the reader a few seconds to process probably take days of painstaking shading and inking. I may decide to try and ignore the manga for a year or two, and maybe a new volume will be ready by then. The hype for the new movies has really gotten me craving more Berserk tho :( |
