| Am I the only person who actually likes Hajime? I don't really know why, since I'm not usually into the happy-go-lucky characters, but she seems pretty nice for me. I'm not really into the blonde guy though, he just looks so weird! Other than that I can only say the animation is just perfect. The anime is so beautiful! |

The transformation designs are pretty neat. I don't like any of the characters though. The blonde guy is too stiff. I don't like the purple haired guy. I don't like lolis in swimsuits. The cowboy guy was alright though. As for the heroine, she was pretty goddamn annoying exclaiming with excitement at every little thing. I also hate the panda going on and on about following rules and stuff. I don't think the phrase "Gatchaman" is going to settle upon me for quite some time. |

| I like the OP. I guess the ED's okay. Interesting characters, especially Hajime and Sugane. Needs more of Joe, OD, Paiman, JJ, and Utsu-tsu I guess these Gatchaman are fighting against the MESS. I wonder where this will go and if the lady at the end before the ED has anything to do with it. |

| Frankly, Hajime is really obnoxious. It's great that she doesn't freak out or anything about Gatchaman, but her personality just... Ugh. I hope her skills make up for that, or, even better, we see character development. The bright colours of the MESS and the animation of the 3D sequences are brilliant. Sugane reminds me a lot of Ishimaru from Dangan Ronpa, which automatically puts him in my good books. The OP and ED weren't very memorable, though a few more episodes may make them stick. |

| Ok, this anime's super-weird. It reminds me of KARAS. I'm gonna continue watching it for now, as I've labeled animes as weird before, but ultimately I liked them very much. So who knows. |

| Been recommended this by too many people to ignore it any longer. Loved the bright art and the music. Hajime is completely over the top and I don't know how that's going to be handled over 12 episodes but I'm willing to find out. |

| Loving the visuals; Hajime is a breath of fresh air amongst the countless cardboard-cutout female characters in anime. Sugane seems a bit uptight, but not so much that it becomes annoying. I can't believe I missed this show last year. |

| Art style is interesting; Backgrounds are flat; but I love the colors of all the visuals; character designs are very strange looking. The main girl is way too talkative and obnoxious. Cant take the chibi panda seriously, so thats going to get annoying quick. o man but im a sucker for scissor weapons. |

| This first episode was kind of disorienting, while also feeling slower than it should have, and the exposition didn't help. If I have the right idea of what the show will be about, this episode was not a very good way to go about introducing it. I don't find the weird characters annoying (just yet), but they're not as amusing as they should be. Something about the comedic timing feels off. So far it's kind of like Kill la Kill without the gorgeous visuals, and the humor (so I'm wondering what I'm supposed to find entertaining). Hajime is more than quirky, she is legit weird - which wouldn't be a problem, but she's not funny or interesting enough to justify that weirdness, at least so far. Hajime's transformation sequence felt incomplete, I thought they would go all out on animating that... |

| I feel like whether one enjoys this anime or not really hinges on whether you like the borderline retarded main characters. But I love the main girl! She could easily seem annoying, but she's cute and it's really funny to watch her. The animation itself might not be masterpiece status, but the shiny colors and eyebleed inducing designs of the gatchaman are totally my jam! Plus the OST is pretty dope, even if the OP has some of the most awful English I ever witnessed. Even while reading what it's supposed to mean I had trouble recognizing the words. :P I feel like the only way this anime can "screw up" and become less interesting for me is if it tries to be too serious / dramatic. If it's some more colorful, action-packed spastic antics of this girl and her new friends, I am totally on board. Gatcha! Gatcha! |
| Well this show sure is creative. Despite that, it doesn't look that great for now. It looks like it is mostly weird just for the sake of it (and I don't think I'll be able to tolerate the characters if they keep being such weirdos, and the same goes for Mister Bland Mc), the animation is very bad, the plot is nothing amazing... I think the biggest (and maybe only) reason I'll keep watching is for Hajime, who's super weird and quite dumb but also surprisingly likable and fun. I just hope she'll develop a bit, or else even she won't be enough to keep me interested. I don't know, maybe I'll end up loving this show but for now, despite what it looks like it's not really my cup of tea. |

| OP and ED with live-action parts? Yes please! I haven't watched the original Gatchaman, but that's pretty good! A lot of expositional talk but that's fine because it sets up all the necessary mechanics, I guess. Also Kenji Nakamura is reusing a certain seiyuu again :p Others are great too! I love how "JJ" can be read like "old man" in Japanese, and JJ is precisely that. Who was that girl(?) in Sugane's room at the beginning? There was a guy in a strange mask (just like in the OP), and there's some focus on phone apps. Maybe "connections" and "networking" are among the themes of the show? O.D. looks *very* similar to Leeron from TTGL! During their collective meeting with JJ, everybody had a number next to them, hmm. P.S. Sugane used his NOTE to open the turnstile. Quite a multipurpose device, huh? Also, there's some CGI (Nakamura at it again!) and it looks decent. P.S. Hajime's barrette looks like a bird. Relevant, I guess? |

| Not sure about this one. Sure, at first glance there is something to like here. The oppai girl is severely autistic and that's my fetish. I also like the rori girl's voice actor, and she was wearing skimpy swimsuit too. But I'm not sure if I'm gonna like this show, since the theme of fighting against le evil monsters is very boring, and I don't like their transformation costumes. I also dislike the male cast of this show, especially that new half guy. Oh yeah, and the swimsuit rori kinda looks like the girl from Saya no Uta. Maybe it's the hairstyle.  |
