Same.

Dat ahoge on Natsuki, wut?
Random episode, but in a good way.

I'm really liking KKK and C^3 in this anime season.

I'd rather not discuss humour with a forum that considers Gintama to be the funniest anime ever.[/serious]
Pretty much.

On topic: Dat awkward moment when it turns out that the humor was done intentionally, especially the ahoge and trying to end the episode too soon.

I don't know what to make of this anime. yes I laughed at some of the jokes, but unlike in Yuyushiki from last season, this one doesn't have consistent pacing that I can feel yet. I'm also a little concerned at some of the artwork. I understood maybe graying out the other classmates, but something about that strikes me as laziness, intended to appear as a style.

I don't know if I'll hang on to the end of this one, but so far its 'okay'.

Not bad, the comedy is just about average but still funny. I, however, dislike Natsuki's yelling at everything, it kind of over-dramatizes the humor and makes it a little lame.
Coming from a producer that isn't major, I don't think it's that bad. The character design is a lot better than I expected, and the voice acting is great as well.

I thought this was Gasai Yuno

A much nicer version of her.

Had to double check whether the ep was really over or not, lol. I can see why people think the humour is forced. It's not for everyone but I personally didn't mind it. Lol'd at the mohawk seal.

It was painful to watch. It's a comedy show, but I failed to laugh. It would've been better if it was a 5 or 15 min episode.

I never thought it was possible for there to be an anime that can make me fall asleep...

At 11:09 they show a photo of five girls, and I assume these are the five main
voice actresses. I recognize the back-left as the voice actress for Botan ( Sae
Aiuchi / 相内沙英 ). I have never seen any other anime series where the faces
of the voice cast were shown, with the exception of Lucky Star where Minoru
Shiroishi often appeared live during the closing credits. The others I am
guessing:

Front-right: Natsuki (Ibuki Kido 木戸衣吹)

Nice first episode, I like the voice actresses so far and found it hilarious when they tried to cut to the ending song a few minutes in (was expecting the ED not to play at the end, to which Natsuki could have come up with a tsukkomi). 4/5.

Ps: Did anyone else notice that ahoge has a girl-like tumor growing from it?

Chara design is bad and it's obvious production costs are low.

Too much sceaming coming from main heroine. Many scenes tried to be funny but wasn't funny at all (I only laughed when they switched to storyboards). I guess this could be good but with another studio and with better script (cutting plot of the show into 5 minute sketches isn't helping either - even if this is from 4-koma manga).

Balut asked:
Does it have a lot of references ... ?

Yes, it does. However, the references are most often to very, very obscure things
which only Japanese people would know about. So it tends to seem random or
boring to fans outside of Japan. It could be good for those anime fans who enjoy
a major challenge and want to learn more about Japan.

I would not characterize it as a parody anime, at least not in the ordinary sense.

The OP was cute. I like the ED, that was repeated twice before the actual one.

Dem seals. Dem bears. Oh yeah, we didn't get to see the Fourth Bear King.

Natsuki and Karin join the Going Home Club, whose club president is Sakura.
Botan and Claire are interesting characters.

Favorite quote from this episode:
"Let's go buy you a stationary store later."
I had to backtrack and reread. Found out they really meant it.

I guess the humor is alright. I did enjoy some parts, so I'll continue.
This is my adorable signature!

I don't really have problem with the sense of humor of the episode. It was quite funny. But one thing that's really bothering me is the VA's. D: I guess you can't expect much from new voice actors.. then again Hikasa Yoko did really well with Mio. @_@;

Oh and also, that ahoge is really distracting. D:

The director was completely inexperienced when he started working on this series.
As a result, the first few episodes have some flaws. Unfortunately, those issues
attracted a lot of criticism. However, he learned very quickly and the quality quickly
became excellent. Unfortunately, many viewers will be turned off by episodes 1
and 2. My suggestion: Jump directly to Episode 4 and watch the rest of the series.
If you love it, then go back and watch the first three episodes.

I would say: Watch it from the beginning. Its the right way and 3 episodes are shorter than a movie, so why skip them? And I dont know whether not so good animations are a point to drop the whole show, because I thing its more animation than a manga would do obviously and so many people dont mind if they read a manga. Also simple animated shows like Shin-chan ore old movies like Lupin III are awesome, too. And superwesome animations arent really necessary for this kind of shows like Kitakubu is one.

I have this strange feeling while watching this Anime.

I can see that most of the voice actress are beginners. I hope that they'll improve and get more roles. Natsuki and Karin's voice are not that bad though ^_^

Some jokes made me smile, but yeah, some jokes are pretty forced.

I gotta say that this episode was kinda boring. I was kinda bored but I hope that the next episodes will be better :D Well, time to sleep, got school exams tomorrow =_=

Hi AO968. What Sakura wrote on the blackboard is
帰宅第一
pronounced: kitaku daiichi
literally meaning:
帰 return (ki)
宅 home (taku)
第 number (dai)
一 one (ichi)
You could translate the phrase as:
" Going Home Above All! "
in other words, going home is the best part of the day.
But you can see that Sakura did not write the character 第. She wrote
something a lot simpler. It is an abbreviated form of 第. That is because
第 requires so many strokes of the chalk. It is normal to use abbreviated
forms such as this in handwriting.
If you look around the club room, you can see that they normally have a
framed calligraphy hung on the wall which has the same phrase. Basically,
this is their club motto.
Oh, and taku (宅) is the "taku" in "otaku".

I like how they broke the 4th wall sometimes. I don't think I seen an anime that has done that yet. Some of the jokes are funny and other not so much. I enjoyed it a little. Alright first episode.

Okay, nothing ground-breaking here. But it's funny and it's cute, and it got quite a few laughs out of me.

All I want to do is watch, relax, and laugh. You don't need "character development" or "plot" to have fun SoL series. Loved it, I'll be watching all 12.
