| A strong, unyielding will vs. the power of friendship. Will Hanyuu or Takano win?! Another great episode. And the final battle begins in the next episode. When Higurashi ends, I'm going to be in complete despair. |
| Great episode, I thought the middle part -even though it was highly interesting- was just good but the beginning -which is really some scary shit if you think about it- and this ending made episode 15 another brilliant one. Looking forward to more, go Hanyuu! |

| I didn't really like this episode because showing how bad Takano's past was is suppose to make you feel sorry for her. It's one thing for her to continue the Hinamizawa Syndrome research, but another for her to intend to make a biologial weapon out of it and kill a bunch of kids singlehandly and not to mention an entire town. With that bein said, I really loved the confrontation at the end. |

| Hanyuu is so amazing. Period. Takano...meh :/ I must say I'm a bit moved but my opinion towards her (a god wannabe bitch) doesn't change much. |
| Japan shore do got some horrible orphanages. And while I can sort of understand her perspective and how she got there now, don't fuck with Hanyuu. Bitch can burn. I never liked that that Mio Takano or whatever chick and not even seeing her touching childhood will change that. Hanyuu, Rika, and Rena are my three favorite characters. Always will be. I really hated to say Hanyuu was my favorite character back then, because I hadn't watched her with it yet. So I just say Rika and Rena. But really, I think you can tell very well what character you like and is your favorite upon first seeing them. And Hanyuu most certainly is my favorite Higurashi character. One of the biggest things I was looking forward to when watching this show as Hanyuu. And didn't disappoint. Well except not getting to see enough of her. |

Evil-looking lolis are so fun-and-cute! :3 Either the animators couldn't make her intimidating, or she is just naturally too cute for that! xD My opinion of Miyo didn't change a lot, but I do feel alot of pity for the old man. How rude to trample on your research papers! Such a kind old man... Just for that, I don't think of Miyo as a cold-blooded bitch anymore. She's just a bitch. Miyo Vs. Hanyuu... whose will is stronger? I'll go for Hanyuu. ^^ |
| Im surprised Hanyuu is a god. I thought god has all the power in the world to do miracles but Hanyuu can do nothing!!!!!! | Ahh, I really cringed when Takano was caught as a child. What a horrible past. The worst part is it seems she's completely screwed up Takano-sensei's words... He doesn't seem like the sort of guy who would want to become a god, but then again, you can't take any Higurashi character at face value. Anyway, it's very interesting to see her evolve into such a misguided monster. Chilling ending after the credits, btw. good lord, why am I always on page 3 |

| So basically after her troubled childhood and the mockery of her saviour she sent out on what is her eyes is an "honourable" quest to clear his name and prove them all wrong. In a way honest intentions but right from the start they where a bit twisted and tainted by her dark thoughts. Her grandfather did not look like the man who wanted fame and glory from his research, and certainly not be called God. |
