I'm glad seeing this and the top review, that I dropped this piece of crap 'adaptation' at episode 5. Man, what a disappointment. At least I didn't waste another 160 minutes on this.

The game is 9/10
but the anime is pure garbage with good animation at times

the test of human kind fight the demon in 7 day and finaly yamato and hibiki left. then the last battle was preety good satan again lucifer.. aichi stop yamato and make a wish to make tye world back from the ancident when everyone lose their memories..
and everyone back to their normal life.
but looklike yamato not losing his memories and smile to hibiki..
end..

Good end and nice lesson, tigers (Hibiki) are stronger than lions (Hotsuin) with the power of friendship and hugs! The fusion scene felt like yu-gi-oh lol. As an anime-only viewer this was a pretty decent series but could have been better with more episodes to flesh out the characters better (show more their lives like at the end) and also improve those boring to watch fights.

Spechless.. What a great anime plus with a satisfying ending. With all of that flawless animation and especially that freakin unique story plot.. like seriously, Invasion + Survival game + end of the world + Final Destination-like plot + Demon summoning using smartphones.. It's.. amazing. Really amazing.

Really, really surprised they managed to do all of this in just 13 episodes. Imagine if they put this on a 25-26 length eps, this would've been much more great.

9/10 for this. Now with that Studio Bridge pulling it off like that, I will now have my full support on their remake/full adaptation of Shaman King (2021) this April. Looking forward on it :)

But why with that low 6 rate? Is it that the anime did not properly followed the story of the game? I'm expecting it to be 7 or atleast 8..

imagine wasting over 40h playing something that can be summarized into 13 solid episodes. peak gaslighting. as an anime only watcher i think it was fine.
