A lot of fun, quite a few good characters, and the interaction was great, but there were several plot points that were introduced that didn't really contribute/go anywhere, the final conflict in episode 12 made little sense from the villains' perspective, and the excuse to bring back the angel villain felt flimsy. Still, would very much like a season 2. |
| I want the Dark Lord to end up with the Hero over Chiho. Chiho has disproportionately large tits and her waist;hip ratio sucks |
| Was surprisingly a fun series. I enjoyed much of the comedy, and the plot was good for what it was. My major complaints would be that it had to just end like that, I mean I would love seeing a second season, although doubt it will come. Despite it's rather large faults (lack of character development/depth being up there) I would still give this series a 7/10, enjoyed it. |

| A nice way to wrap up the show. Going back to its roots as comedy series with some fantasy elements. Even though there weren't that many noteworthy scenes. I like how it ended with Maou and Ashiya ordering khatsu-dums from the first episode. 4/5 ep 8/10 series hoping for season 2. |

| Overall a very plessant anime. Haven't laughed like a retard for a long time. Will give it a 7 or 8. But Im a bit dissapointed it didn't have more Madau x Chiho :( It was pretty one sided |

| I even forgot that this was the final episode, with the way things were going, only when they ordered the food I remembered the first episode and realized that it was the end, and I started laughing. Seriously great series, can't wait for Yen Press to launch the light novel next year. |

| Mwah, not my favorite anime. The story lacked, but maybe it had to do with the number of episodes. I could pretty much predict how things were going to end. Sometimes small things dragged on for way too long, for example that stomach ache. However there were funny moments which made the show watch-able for me. All in all I'd say it was average, some parts were enjoyable but the story overall lacked here and there (and so was the romance, not sure why MAL gives it the romance genre, there certainly are very small parts that indicate romance but not enough to flag it as a romance genre in my opinion) but I guess it was more about the comedy here? 6/10 |

| This a nice change of pace for me. A decent comedy series with hints of romance. Have to say it ended too fast ... Hope they roll out another season soon. |

| 9.5/10. I love this anime. I know that most of my ratings are bad but this one truly is a great show. It made me laugh so hard in so many parts :). 4/5 for the final episode because I thought it was not bad and not the best.I guess this episode made me think that Emilia will fall in love with Maou because of the last scene. She blushed at the last scene a little. Season 2 or else I would be sad. BUT thanks for informing us, people of Japan :D. Season 2s always make me happy because it's going to come out soon after epic things happen :) |

I liked how the end was Emi giving Maou another umbrella! <3 I really really loved this show! <3 I wish it had another season! I'm gonna miss it ;______________________; |

| It occurred to me that there was never an episode of Chi-chan doing archery except maybe this one, I guess. Gosh, this anime is over. It all went by in a flash. Makes you wonder if everything was just a dream. Nice conclusion to the series. I enjoyed it from start to end. 8/10 |

This anime excels on the details, its just outstanding: all the faces, the smiles, the fluid movements. Just awesome. Loved this part too:  XD I really enjoyed this episode. I like that they made a relaxed episode with not much plot as a final episode. I bothers me that they didn't get rid of all the bad guys thought; Sauriel is still around, and so is Olba. What the hell? Why don't they just throw them into the portal? (a portal that actually works this time XD). But anyway, that doesn't really matter. Loved how Emi and even Suzuno started to "trust" (that's not the right word is it?) Maou. I hope he stays in Japan with Chiho and his friends *.* (although I'll never know if we don't get a 2nd season...) Loved that final scene when Maou and Ashiya ordered that funny and bad pronounced thing XD Anyway, loved the anime overall. Hilarious comedy along with a very nice plot. Comedy and plot combined perfectly, in my opinion; But, wait....., it just occured to me.... who was that landlady after all? How did she know about who their were? Hum... guess I'll never find out XD |
| THAT BAIT IN THE BEGINNING GOT ME WHYYYY Also, as others here have said, who is the landlady? She knew about them but it was never revealed how. Anyways, really solid finale. A whole lot of nothing, but it was more of these great characters so I was more than happy with it. In the end, is it implying that Maou quit his job at MgRonalds? And I loved Emi's little smile at the end with the twirling umbrella. That scene, along with Maou and Ashiya ordering Katsun(?) were nice touches that really brought things full circle while still showing the character development. Overall, loved this anime. Great characters, great humor, great OP and OST, great animation, great everything. Easily gets a 9/10 from me, and I really hope we get a second season soon. |

| I love this anime more than I expected it. Gave it a 9/10 only bc there's an open-ending, but since the LN and manga continues, I'm still hoping for a season 2! I mean, come on, I need at least one Maou/Emi kiss (*¯ ³¯*)♡ |

| Not great. Would have preferred the anime ending last episode. I probably would have gave it an 8/10. This just felt like a filler episode. I had to look up what the hell a "cooling-off period" was. Never heard of that. Wasn't expecting Emi to warm up to Maou like that in the epilogue. I still hate her but she became slightly less obnoxious than she was at the start. Decent ending. It's hard to make a good ending when all the loose ends get tied up the episode before. 7/10 for this episode. 7.5/10 for this anime. |

| I agree with most people that the final episode was kinda weak. Yet this series as a whole surprised me in a good way. I thought this was gonna be a stupid ecchi/comedy/harem with half-assed comedy and action yet daaaamn. This was a superb comedy with cool action and a half-assed harem!!!! (I'm joking in a good way). I laughed way too much through it and I really wish for a second season. I guess a lot of things didn't made much sense like the relationship between Maou and the Heroe and his generals (even Emillia herself kept mentioning this over and over though the series) but although I it annoyed me at start the very fact that everyone was aware of it made me laugh with that too in the end. Also DAMN that OST. The Devil Regains His Strength was AWESOME. Go go season 2!!! |

| This series started off really well, but just couldn't maintain the comedic momentum and by the end there was very little in way of laughs. A shame because there was so much potential. |
