| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "Battle Called Upon by Hatred" -Jeane D'Arc goes down & Uso's dad disappears -Franny ...possibly the dumbest death ....EVER! -The old men of Reinforce die w/ the ship -Connie goes down... no, she gets pwned! HARD! -Uso & Chronicle finally meet up again in what I find to be an underwhelming rivalry. They hardly met up in the series, I can't remember the last time they fought before this episode. Honestly, Fuala or Katejina would better suited to wear the "rival" banner. -Katejina is weird and stupid and annoying.... |

| I've been really pissed off about some of the episodes in this series, but this one was SO GOOD! Seriously, the Gundams' last episodes always manage to surprise me. So many women died... wow, not only all the shrike team members, but also a lot of other wemon pilots throughough the series. That Katejina bitch has become a mad villain, she killed 3 White Ark pilots in this episode! I was not expecting this... and yeah lol at Franny's death. And concerning the part where the old men and the Reinfoce Kamikaze'd that shit, that was awesome, probably the only emotional moment for me in the entire show... that was a great crew. |

| Great episode, again, after several trainwrecks. I'm getting confused what to rate this, will see how it goes in the last episode. Though, I still can't understand that Katejina. If she is really playing both Uso and Cronicle to fight each other and pick the winner for herself, why did she try to kill Uso repeatedly before? Shouldn't she try to make Uso meet Cronicle more often? Or maybe she's just crazy. |

| Katejina just killed everyone in this episode, lol The old guys doing a Kamikaze attack was really touching. For me, it was the very best moment of this series until now. Well, they died in a honored way. I hope Katejina and Chronicle die in this last episode, and the rest of the crew stays alive. |

| Been digging where the series has gone in these last few episodes dealing with gender identity, free will, ideology and such and the dissension between some of the parts of the Zanscare Empire to make the war a little more nuanced, but now I'm a little lost as to who wants what now that Shakti is in full control of the Halo and Tassilo is dead. What do Chronicle (and Katejina by extension perhaps?) desire right now? Tassilo wanted to start a new empire with free minds ruled by Maria but governed by him (repeating the past) while Kagatie wanted to revert everyone to infancy and start humanity over by going back and putting the notion of hatred back in slumber, but also jeopardizing humanity as a whole (or maybe just the people of Earth while the noble Zanscare citizens would be salvaged as the sole nation), but then I'm not sure what Chronicle wants. Part of his character seems to be his wavering convictions, especially made clear by these last few episodes where his indecisiveness along with those of others is brought to the forefront (Maria not trying to liberate herself well enough too and such) as we've seen him show both mercy and ruthlessness in the past and is now being berated for this, but I'm not sure what his ends are. Shakti's kind of at the root of this now too, and the whole mechanics of her changing the Halo's abilities seems a little vague and weird. Anyone mind clarifying any of this stuff? I hope the final episode can make a bit more sense of these bits, but I'm more just writing this now as a failsafe to inquire if I'm still in the dark by the end, I've really been liking the momentum of the past few episodes of Victory, I just want it to come together nicely. It's right on the verge of going into an 8 from me after wavering around a 6-7 in the middle sections (man, the pacing got slow after those first 4ish episodes). |

Second the Reinforce battleship, with their stupid Captain and the adorable olders, Gomez and Ortis. Third, Shrike team, defeat, totally :( Confirmed, Kajetina, loses the head, insane!!!! Has Shakti ended this war with the helpe of psychos? Next episode and last xD |
| A song to end the war? Do I remember something? Adieu, Connie . I was so sure that she would be the only Shrike member to survive the war. The old guys, the false Genneham all got a moment to shine, unexpectedly. This time, the show's ship disappeared before the end. Chronicle ended up as a terribly incompetent soldier with no real belief/motivation, disappointing. Unless he is now fueled by a revenge desire (for his defeats) or maybe he is uncertain about Katejina's choice and wants to be sure by eliminating an option... Katejina made a survival game out of her lover/mother conflict? -_-" I was certain she already chose her way, why do she have to let the decision to the men now?? 5/5 I wonder what Shakti will do within the last minutes of the Halo. @St0rmblade So, someone else "remembers love". I have to check back this Katajina's suit now xD It's true, I actually noticed it the first time I watched the episode but didn't think it was "relevant" enough to write it here. But now, even the final dramatic picture focuses our attention on her crotch (where the MS were "strategically" placed) and breast (with the suit now largely opened, "because" of the shocks" and her excitement). |

| So many dead, this episode. Connie, Franny (who died so fucking suddenly), the old men from the Reinforce etc. etc. Although the last one was pretty awesome. Cronicle keeps disappointing though: in the end he was nothing more than Katejina's bitch. Katejina herself has gone full delusional on us: I think we lost her. EDIT: as an aside, Katejina has to be the worst personification of the woman/mother (with Cronicle/Uso as lover/child) dilemma I've ever seen in fiction. Over-the-top, unsubtle and just plain dumb in general. The episode itself was good, though. |

| Shakti's song was haunting. Katejina snapped, in a spectacular manner. She even managed to gain complete control over Chronicle, despite (or due to) her delusions. I have to admit, I found the whole ordeal exceedingly hilarious. Hilarious enough for me to laugh out loud for a couple of minutes after finishing the episode. |

| Really good episode. I love how to Katejina's whole build up is revealing he is just a giga bitch with daddy issues. I knew from the start something was wrong with her when she didn't want to take care of the baby and shoved it over to Shakti. Looking back now at the anime as a whole, Katejina carried the series finale. Chronicle ended without any character development, just an evil guy who happens to be the Queen's brother. At the end he never gave a f about Shakti or the Queen. |
