I'm currently into Crystallion, a power metal band, with A Dark Enchanted Crystal Night; Burning bridges and Crystal Clear: must-listen.

I also have heard some of DENA songs: perfect. Enjoy listening to Summer doesn't mean a thing and Thin Rope.

I remember this cover. Came across this accidentally about a year ago.
And yes, very nice band indeed.

My favorite guys from 60's era is probably Barrett and The Soft Machine.

It reminds me a bit of The Zombies.

Didn't know there was a band called "Barrett and The Soft Machine", but I used to listen to a lot of Soft Machine back in high school, especially the Bundles album.
However, I'm not really into the rock scene from the 60's (60's is more a jazz era to me), in terms of rock, I'm more a 70/80's kind of guy because prog-rock and jazz-rock are the shit.

Oh, I just meant Syd Barrett and The Soft Machine by themselves! :)
However The Soft Machine helped to Syd a lot on his solo albums.

Been listening to HER NAME IN BLOOD, fantastic band. Their self titled second album especially. First album was great with some fab vocals but the second and their THE BEAST EP are just a step above. Yet to listen to BEAST MODE though, it's just sitting there at the moment.

This one is dedicated to everybody in CD.
I love Christine

"If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will appear less complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty poverty, nor weakness weakness." - Henry David Thoreau

Album-wise, I've been listening to one half of Laced/Unlaced by Emilie Autumn, the half in question being Unlaced since it
A) Contains more original pieces
B) Is an instrumental album with the emphasis on electric violin, which I like.

Song-wise, I've been listening to this over and over again.

I've been alternating with that one and The Doctor's Wife by the same group. I think that the latter is lyrically above this one, but since I like this one better as a song, I decided to choose it to link here. You can just search the other one if you liked this one.

Love Jaga Jazzist, I was addicted to them when I discovered them (with their 'Animal Chin', like a lot of other people).
I love their sense of texture, beautiful harmonic colors and very interesting sound overall.
Recently, there is this french saxophonist and composer from the new generation of jazzmen who do quite similar things, imo.
