| Wow what is this episode, this is so damn intense and spectacular like as expected.. My bones still remembers how intense and frightening this scene ( and morely the legendary scene in the the next episode ), and anime did it well.. best episode so far ( I don't really like 2011's Genei Ryodan's part like the first adaptation ) ... |

| Nen almighty, this episode was on a whole different level. I was waiting to see what all the hype behind Neferpitou was about. I had seen the name before in a character of the season poll and people said that she had given the biggest surprise of the year so far. I went in expecting something big to happen and I'm still shocked to no end. The moment she started reading the part about the brain and plucked the antennas, I got real bad vibes. To think they went that far though, damn damn damn this is just getting so intense. Seeing that guy in a brain dead state was disturbing and will probably be forever ingrained in my mind. I really liked that guy (don't even remember his name, I'm embarrassed :x). That scene was excellent though, the disturbing atmosphere combined with the horrifying experiment Neferpitou went through with really demonstrated how fearsome she is. Quite the mad scientist (picture in spoiler) - Edit: Oh and that one blonde chimera ant that's the lion's subordinate reminds me of Miria from Baccano. |

Glad to see I was far from the truth :p. @ GaleckC - That guy had some really bad luck, I actually never expected HxH to get that dark, really got gruesome and vile there. Not that I'm complaining, these new heights really are making for more powerful moments. |

| Wow this episode was damn great, beat the previous 8 or so episodes. Honestly Gon's side was boring and I hope that we don't get to see too much of them at least until they reach the entrance of the cave(?). This is the Neferpitou that I've been hearing a lot about, hmm, that's some crazy talent to just activate nen like that, I really hope that there will be an explanation for that. That other dude (forgot his name) also activates his nen by forcibly open up his pores, things are getting build up now. Can't wait to see the other 2 royal guards. |

| hmm getting more ridiculous. Seems like Togashi is writing himself into a hole here. At this rate they Chimera ants aught to be as strong as Phantom Troupe in a few more days, then stronger than any human in a few more days. I'll be surprised if they can beat the Chimera with out some Deus ex Machina moment or some cheap miraculous power up. |

| Pokkle... that's terrible. At least Ponzu's end was quick. Pitou is freaky. Is it a he or she? I can't tell. Having a specialist type doesn't bode well for Kite & co. I hope the Hunter Association gets in on this quick. Even Kite would likely have trouble with Pitou. |

I like to think of Pitou in the anime as female and a male in the manga, because in the anime she has a more feminine body shape. Oh, and I really like that scene where she is "interrogating" Pokkle. | Oh, yeah, it's definitely creepy. In the manga you are actually shown how she is poking and prodding around in his brain, but I think I prefer this version because of the things I pointed out in my post up there to be honest. As far as the spoiler, well all you can do is speculate. Pretty sure I posted some things when I first watched the anime that were wrong, ironic, or whatever as well. |

| Neferpitou Makes her depute and its quite obvious how much stronger she and how she stacks up to the rest of the chimera ants The thing i really love bout this arc is how togashi explores the chimera ants own individuality as being a separate race to the humans and there experiences upon learning how humans operate and or what makes them strong and there adaptability which in turns helps them evolve as a species. Its alot more of a clever concept then using the chimera ants as just a one sided generic enemy. (you will have to forgive me, i just spent watching 350+ episodes of bleach) lol So this came as a shock sort of. This is definitely further explored later on. But i think personally this is one of the theme's of this arc that i find the most interesting to watch. |

| I'm going to be pissed if this ends like the PT arc and nobody dies at the end. The way they gained Nen is pretty stupid imo. Oh you punched me, now I have Nen thanks. And why was the King's Guard born with Nen powers? The only human they had with Nen abilities was Pokkle and he was still alive so where did she get them from? |

Every human can have Nen, rewatch Heaven's Arena arc to remember the rules of Nen plz. then you will understand why RG have Nen from birth. From the moment the queen ate a human (doesn't matter if that human had Nen, it's human genes that count) the more talented ants could theoretically have Nen from birth. |
