Taiga is starting to get on my nerves again, though not as baddly as before.
As for Minorin, she keeps on sinking in my opinion, though she is indeed an awesome character.
Takasu is awesome, though i would like that he started noticing Ami more.
He and Taiga are not suited for each other (they look much more as father and dauther or brothers then lovers), neither him and Minorin.
They simply don't fit. He likes her, but it doesn't mean the will have and sucessful relationship. Just like in reallity.

And that is friggin impressive.
Reallity applies here.

I'm all for Takasu and Ami. He simply completes her perfectly.

Liked it, actually more than the past few episodes

Great episode, it seems that both Minori and Ami are starting to show feelings here.

I am kind of hoping for Ryuuji x Minorin because if that happens, Minorin gets with the guy that I like more. Kitamura is not as solid of a character so far as Ryuuji, so I'd want Minorin to get with the guy that I like more so lol. That's because she slightly edges out Taiga in terms of favorites, not because she is a bad character, but she reminds me too much of Louise. I love both Minorin and Taiga, but even though I know it probably won't happen, I'd like to see Minorin and Ryuuji have at least ONE kiss lol. That'd be good. Even if it is before Taiga x Ryuuji.

So basically, I want both to happen LOL.

IMO Ami is the character there to make up the numbers. She will be the bittersweet story of Toradora that ends up with nobody. It will be Taiga x Ryuuji, Kitamura x Minorin.

It would be a big swerve if there was any other combination.

Toradora has been unique in the way it presents itself so far so It wouldn't surprise me if the director did shake it up to make it unpredictable, only to change it back right at the death of the anime lol. It's getting close to the end now though, so we can probably expect some mega development in the next episode or two.

I was wondering how things will go for the main Toradora group after the festival in episode 13. Looks like things are not really all that different, the legend of palm top tiger of happiness? Seemed to come out of nowhere but at the same time it fits in the most amusing way.

I'm curious about Ami's phone call, though the ending revealed a lot about her, I'm still curious since she's not a character who reveals her deep thoughts as clearly as Ryuji and Taiga.

The anime seems to go in circles with the triangles and squares of the main characters but that's part of its charm, anyone could end up with anyone, even if many are expecting Taiga and Ryuji to somehow end up together, there are still some mysteries with the others and even with the main two there are still other possibilities.

I'm pretty open when it comes to Toradora shippings and like several combinations. So far my favorite is RyujixTaiga, though I don't mind if either is paired up with someone else.

In the two weeks between the 13th and 14th eps,
I watched The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi,
and suddenly Toradora is not my favorite anime anymore...:(
However, great episode. Gives me hope for this week.

Rumor has it, that there's enough there and it might actually go to two or even three seasons not counting OVA's. So one never knows. I think though the second season is more of a definite than the others. I'm hoping and praying that there's a live action version.



Why do people automatically put Kitamura with Minorin. There is absolutely nothing there. I mean out of all the characters there really is NOTHING between them. Unless you can give me something concrete that has them as a possible potential couple.

I would sooner see Ami with Kitamura because they have friendship history since they were children and he was the one that told her to come to their area. I could definitely see Kitamura and Madame President because they are building Kitamura's character around Madame President and vice versa. But nothing about Kitamura is built around Minorin except the first episode as he's the one to formerly introduce Minorin to Ryuuji. Beyond that there has been nothing and Minorin has really been built up about her romantic drama in relation to Ryuuji.

I barely see them as close friends just good acquaintances because they're on the softball/baseball team together. There is nothing else there. With Madame President you even see a possibility of romantic tension. Has there been any with Minorin and Kitamura? Not one drop, unless you can prove me wrong. A moment of not romantic tension but just a clue into how close Ami and Kitamura are is at the beach house when Ami asks Kitamura why he's there and that he's never missed a club meeting before.

There are a lot of developments but the idea of KitamuraxMinorin is far from the realm of possibility. I don't think it's fair to say that because they're the left overs of or would-be former love interests of RyuujixTaiga that it would mean they are automatic pairs. The series has definitely not built that pairing and I haven't seen it translated in the comics yet.

I think we all know the outcome but some of us want it to be diffrent XD. Personally, I'm fine with that outcome you have under the spoilers.

Hmmmmmm I wonder *looks around* .......... *pokes Taiga on computer screen* damn nothing yet =P

I don't know. For me what's happening right now is just drags. The only character development I'm seeing is Ami. Minorin is weird.

I'm seeing little Minorin development but I really can't stand the character. Her stupidity early on was pointless. Now she's less stupid, but still annoying.

Ami is great, always liked that character. It could be because in some ways she reminds me of Taiga and I understand her. Minorin has nothing I understand.

Can you please just watch the spoilers there lol. I don't read the comics and don't want to know what has or hasn't happened.

Anyway,

I am basing this on other anime I have seen. They will have an influx of activity in the dying stages of the anime, and it has been subtly hinted throughout. If you watch attentively you can see it, however it is not overt. I think Taiga was turned down in the first couple of episodes because he likes Minorin. They have something going on behind the scenes, you can see it in the way they interact with each other lol.

It's just the pure gut feeling you get from watching so many Romantic Comedies. They have set it up for those couples to pair off. Ami was the intruder extra.

Everything I said is based entirely on the show itself. Not the manga. The manga isn't even finished being translated. The show is actually more advanced than the manga I've read. The manga translation just reached the swimming battle. You already saw that in the show about 5-7 episodes ago. So there was ZERO spoilers in my post, unless of course you can name one.

As for the rest of what you said,
I ALWAYS watch shows I favor attentively. I rewatch and rewatch to oblivion. Again there is NOTHING there, you're not even giving me an example of this sprinkled throughout. You can't base what you've seen in other animes as the sole generalized viewing for all of them.

In this regard I don't see much if any Minorin and Kitamura as of late. Most of their association is through their friends (which is lightly) and through baseball. Working together to scare the others is not romantic association. All in all their ALL friends, that doesn't mean I see them all macking one another.

However Kitamura who had little development until recently is being developed around both Madame President and Taiga alone. Not Minorin, so how is it possible that Minorin and Kitamura are a logical couple?

Sure some respects of this show are predictable. But that doesn't mean all of them are. When a guy posted his spoilers...I wanted to know more of other pairings than the ones s/he listed.

At the beginning of the episode the girl thanking Taiga sounded like Nia Teppelin. I'm probably imagining things. xD

Taiga picking at Ami's nose and rubbing it on her skirt was just priceless xD

Isn't it the ending that usually changes first than the OP? I recall that in most anime that have 20-or-so episodes have their EDs changed more often... I been watching lots of different stuff lately, so I might be wrong in the statistics :P

Is good to see that the Minorin&Ryuugi develepments are starting to get more pronounced... Ami seems to have a crush on him also. That would make these series a harem(ya, I consider all anime in which 3+ girls like the same guy harems ;]) right? I'm rooting over Taiga btw, but that might change in the future.

Anyway, this anime makes it clear that Rie-sama's just perfect for the roles of tsundere lolis ^^

What is the name of the show the art for your signature comes from? I notice the girl has a patch, I'm curious to see if it is an anime.

Secondly, was it just me or did you notice that there seemed to be a finger in her mouth?! I was suspicious if it was Taiga.

I'm still hoping for the Ryuuji x Ami pairing, but I know I wont get it. Minorin just gets on my nerves. -_-;
