| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| Nice episode. The first half was fan service and at the end there was a bit of drama. Judging by the preview thing are going to get messy. But one thing is still bothering me. What happened to Kurumi? |

| I liked this episode and in general I think this anime is good. It just feels so very rushed. I can't help but to sit and think "theres just one more episode" also what exacly happend to kurumi? I guess shido was unable to save her, but he did stand infront of efreets attack which means he must've blocked it? Just one more episode left I fear we won't see kurumi again :/ Also, after the ending song it looks like the spirits: Tohka and Yoshino were fading away? I really wonder how it's going to end :o |

| 3/5 Stake for the overwhelming part of the time useless, the only nice thing stonera and maybe a little bit, with the judgment of others and the swimsuits, those really cute girls that make up the difference in the appearance of the protagonists of that by wearing simple as anonymous swimwear , really bad! only interesting parts in which one asks questions, the rest is boring ~! |

| Am i the only one wondering how you can go in a swimming pool while still holding a hand puppet and ribbons and other hair garments like the beads Yoshino was wearing? Don't you usually take those off when entering the pool? Episode was ok i guess mostly fan service. |
| So Kurumi arc got postponed for the mean time and this series(Or season if there'll be another season) will use Kotori arc as the ending for it. Anyway, fun episode but Origami ruined the mood most of the time. There should be more episodes for that make up because I won't satisfy on just 1 OVA. :( |

| This was pretty much a calm before the storm episode with lots of swimsuits, a kinda lame one to be honest. I guess the season final will be an epic battle between Origami and the spirits, that's what i hope for at least. |

| MIlitary Zapped Ultimate Grind Instrument AKA MIZUGI. Dem swimsuits. Guess Yoshino won that battle. But nice commentary by the Vice-Commander. I like the OST during the swimming pool scenes, especially the piano OP. And no one goes down a slide like that, lol. Go, Shidou! Show Kotori that you don't need Fraxinus to help you! Oh no, Origami found out it was Kotori. I'm expecting an "epic" battle between Origami (who'll steal the suit) and Kotori (who'll get angry somehow). I expect Tohka and Yoshino joining, too. Shidou will probably save the day. One question though... Where the hell is Kurumi? |

| I won't bother pointing change again. But I just want that Origami get more active role in the future LN. I just feel that her character is wasted. And one other thing is why is the production team is stubornly keep the trio in every scene is a wonder. |

| Oh, so we are at the finale already?! Perfect timing since I just finished 11 episodes today XD Does anyone think Kotori looks like Kuuko from Nyaruko-san? lol. At first, I did not pay much attention to her character because she acted bossy & tsundere toward Shidou. But eventually Kotori's antics get into me and I like her the most now. Her tragic past does tug my heartstrings, and she is the one protecting Shidou all these times. People who played the VN might have an answer for this. I think the figure beside Kotori maybe Shidou's spirit form himself. Maybe he is a half-spirit as well, and his spirit erased their memories. Another possibility is some 3rd party caused Kotori to become a spirit. I think the first Space Earthquake that killed 150 million people might have caused by a single spirit, making it the most powerful one in the series, a "god." Maybe it had a hand in turning Kotori into a spirit?! I like the fact that the whole anime makes you feel like watching a VN where you've chosen Kotori's route. Other characters that were thought to be important are conveniently pushed to the sidelines for Kotori x Shidou relationship: Kurumi just "disappeared;" Tohka just "reduced to a food eating fanatic;" and Origami "turned antagonist." Since the characters are playing dating sim in the anime, it feels like watching a dating sim of people playing dating sim LOL. If this only has one season, a definite heroine is Kotori. In the likely event that this has another season, the secret about that tragedy 5 years ago will be revealed later. |

| Date a Live isn't a VN, it's a Light Novel :p The anime adapts the first four volumes : Dead end Tohka, Puppet Yoshino, Killer Kurumi, Itsuki Sister. We're in the fourth volume since episode 10. |
