Hmm... interesting epi. IMO, the anime-original is looking great. Arachne getting beat-up by Asura is kinda an eye-candy since it's been a while that there's some sort of action going on. Maka & Chrona moment is deff <333 but too bad though Chrona didn't actually left & Medusa's sudden appearance made the situation a lot more mysterious. In the end, Arachne got a hold off Asura & Medusa surrendered to Shibusen. I haven't lost faith on the anime yet so I'll still be expecting a lot from it =3

Yeah northing's better than picking up decent manga, following story for few episodes and than going filler-crazy. Geez, if Bones can't make normal adaptation than they should leave manga/novels alone and follow example of DTB...

Im so glad i didnt dropped Soul Eater at start. This anime has great combination of story/drama action. Nice animation and music as well!!!

Arachne formed an alliance w/Kishin.. Now that's gonna be hard to beat.
The anime-version's getting interesting.

was that Medusa showing them Brew in the preview? just what is she up to? Maybe she realizes she needs to use them with Arachne having the kishin on her side.

Bored. The scene with Kid following Joe was funny, but all in all, probably one of the only bad episodes so far. It had to happen I guess.

What, another Maka/Crona reconciliation episode, don't they get bored of it after some time? Very average and boring episode as always, but I guess Arachne and Medusa saved the day once again, with Arachne leading the enemy front with the Kishin, and Medusa probably joining (but still with some personal interest and manipulation involved) Shibusen. Those two sisters are by far the most interesting characters of the show, and that's pretty sad.

Goodness, kinda surprised at the negative responses. I enjoyed this more than the last couple of episodes.

The Kishin scene was creepy and stylish, there was proper character interaction between the most developed characters (with visual references to the desert scene and the Maka+Tsubaki conversation in ep33, and some good paralleling with Chrona and the Kishin), and a real plot twist on top.

It was a good episode, but as I follow the manga, I was expecting something different more along the plot. =\ and everything is changing from the manga. I guess it's expected when they only have 11 eps left to make. =P

Didn't Like seeing the awsome Asura like that..
I wanted to Hug Crona for like 90% of the episode. Good thing Maka did It for me..
Needzz way moar Free IMO! Kid was funny. ^^

If I didn't love Crona so much this episode kinda would have bored me to be honest.
Not to nitpick, but what the hell, couldn't they have at least shown us what was going on with Stein?
And the scene with Kid was funny, I s'pose, but oh great, we still know nothing about what he's searching for, but we did get to see Arachne's cleavage and Maka comforting Crona while he was upset yet again.
It was alright I guess.
Was anyone else put off by SEF having them refer to Crona as 'it'?

I was. Didn't a previous episode earlier in the series clarify that Chrona was Medusa's DAUGHTER? Unless I am mistaken of course. I suppose a character like Crona can be hard to understand gender-wise.

Overall I actually enjoyed this episode. The action of the Kishin's attack on Arachne was a good start, waking up the episode with a bit of a bang. Death the Kid's humourous symmetrphilia [not a word but oh well] added light to the episode. And lastly, the episode ended smoothly with some pleasant drama between Crona and Maka. Now that the Kishin and Arachne has joined forces, the threat is strong and so is the plot! Looking forward to the next episode! :]

yesyes. I liked this episode very much and I would have never expected Arachne to search out the Kishin and join forces. Arachne getting beat up was animated very well and had my eyes peeled to the screen. hooray for Soul Eater!

wow. another powerful episose. i have missed soul eater tons.a tear did fall down at the end of tht. indeed the conflict of mother x friends
