As for your first question, I am not the only one who thinks Happy Project is a psychological battle. Please see the references I've given. (e.g. "Its turning into a psychological battle type of manga" by Natsu12345) In the broad sense, the "battle" IS a game. Although it is not a common one, it does have elements like players, rules and goals. However, I am not going to persuade you into adding the Game tag because the battle is not a common game, such as a trading card game. Admittedly, at the beginning the protagonist did want to get a girl. However, his goal changed as he came to know the immoral scheme of the manipulative female character (i.e. Nishikura). He decided to cooperate with other players to hinder the evil activities that Nishikura was plotting. In the mean time, other players do have their own interests (i.e. getting an ideal lifelong partner). So their relationships involve both cooperation and competition. Therefore it IS a complicated story. The characters HAVE some depth. (e.g. Nishikura succeeded in deceiving everyone but the female lead at the beginning.) And I am not the only one who thinks that way. (e.g. "It's a good thing she's not as flat a character as she led everyone to believe." by notsureifsrs) There were lies and plots going on in Happy Project and they were carried out by multiple characters. (Nishikura, Sugimori, etc) It is true that Death Note, Gantz, and Monster are well qualified Psychological stories. But that doesn't imply romantic stories (e.g. Koi Kaze) are not qualified. |

| I added the publishing dates for Koisuiren http://myanimelist.net/manga.php?id=8679 yesterday, but they're still not appearing. The manga status says "publishing", but it has already finished in 2002! I looked in my Japanese manga volumes for the dates, so I'm sure they're correct. I also added the Vampire Miyu novel series yesterday (two books - one with short stories and a comic, the other with only short stories) and it still hasn't appeared on the site, while I HAVE seen other novel series listed (and this one includes a comic, while those other novels I've seen listed don't include a comic). How long does it take for it to appear? |
