Best Storyline/Plot - Kanon (2006) - Albeit not original, it was executed in a very good manner, and swayed my heart away. Runner Up - D. Gray-Man. Very intricate plot, but too much fillers -_- Best Animation - The Place Promised in Our Early Days - It has some of the best animation I have ever seen. From the detailed environments to the lovable lighting effects; this movie is top of the class! Runner Up - Mushishi - Its animation is extremely good; the natural environments are so detailed it's like you're there, and while the character designs are a bit simple, they fit right in. Best Sound - Tsubasa Chronicle - What can I say? Its soundtrack is so inspiring, so perfect for the mood and has so many great insert songs. The soundtrack made this anime more than what it really is. Runner Up - Cowboy Bebop - Well, it's so varied, and the anime itself is very music-themed. Lots of great music for any taste! Best Characters - Naruto (original series) - It has a vast array of characters, all which are very great and has great backgrounds which is fitting for such a large anime. Shippuuden has been a slacker in the character department, but in recent episodes it has shown signs of improvement! Runner Up - Cowboy Bebop - The characters doesn't have anything special; they're completely normal. And that's what makes them so great. Forget archetypes, heck forget that it's an anime! The characters are very untypical of anime series, simply because they're so lifelike! And that's what makes them so great! Best relationship and character development - Full Metal Panic! TSR - the development and the relationship between the two mains just work so well in this series. They really managed to take me aback! Runner Up - ef - a tale of memories - this series really grabbed my heart when it came to the characters. Though short, I loved the way the characters and their relationships developed! Best Enjoyment - Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu - Well, it made me laugh. It made me laugh a lot! Which is why it's here. I really enjoyed watching it, and I probably will once more (Fumoffu-power, folks!) Runner Up - Ouran High School Host Club - It's very refreshing and enjoyable to watch, and I feel like I'm rejuvenated and reborn as an anime fan when I watch it. It's hard to describe, but it's certainly a feeling of enjoyment! Best Overall - Kanon (2006) - It was very well executed, both in story, character, sound, art and, of course, enjoyment. This is a series anyone should watch, lest they are afraid of shedding a tear or five. Runner Up -Blood+ it is very well rounded, but Kanon beat it to the goal line just barely. Also a recommended watch, if you like action/drama, that is. |

Best Storyline/Plot - Death Note Runner Up - Code Geass Best Animation - Hellsing Ultimate OVA Runner Up - Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Best Sound - Naruto/shippuuden, what can I say.... I like rock/metal tunes, great BGM's in naruto and shippuuden :) Runner Up - Gintama, same... lots of great rock/metal riffs and Opening and Endings songs are almost all good too ^_^ Best Characters - One Piece , at least all in the straw hat crew are SO loveable... Runner Up - School Rumble , lots of different personalities and funny as hell xD Best relationship and character development - Lovely Complex Runner Up - Clannad Best Enjoyment - ONE PIECE ! :D Runner Up - Gintama Best Overall - ONE PIECE !!
