One of the best shorts ever done in Japan for me, along with Running Man (Manie Manie), The Second Renaissance I & II (Animatrix) and File 538 (Twilight Q). And probably the best work of Masaaki Yuasa.  In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same. |

story is this... or my interpretation... baby wakes up in the house simulator which has a mommy simulator as well. this machine tough, operates with living bodies. when body is eaten up (i assume) simulator offline. so, baby wakes up and simulator goes offline and he goes outside, and outside even weirder. anyway, stuff happens and baby gets old and finds "another" machine like he has born in. goes inside, finds a baby, feeds him and stuff and sacrifices his body to the machine for this baby. |
